The first Endeavour newsletter of 2023 continues on a very positive note following a very successful 2022 for the group. With Spring just around the corner I am sure we are all looking forward to the lighter mornings and evenings with the warmer weather not too far ahead.
My last newsletter of 2022 mentioned the significant investment the group continues to make, not just through the acquisition of the Turners businesses but also the purchase of freehold in Romford for our new Volvo home in East London along with our flagship facility for Volvo and Polestar at Centennial Park, which will be re-named Volvo Cars North West London. I am also delighted to confirm that we will be re-opening the Swiss Cottage, approved repairer facility, an agreement reached with the support of Volvo UK along with committing to another year at Brent Cross shopping centre.
We are aiming for the new East London facility to be open for business early May, the Swiss Cottage service centre end of June and Volvo Cars North West London and Polestar September, I’m sure you will all agree a very busy and exciting few months ahead.
Whist we can take many positives from a great start to 2023 the group is also very mindful of the continual challenge around the cost of living and the significant costs we all face with regard utilities and interest rates. We hope to see some rest bite as we move out of the winter months and I look forward to updating you in the Q2 newsletter.

Work is progressing rapidly on our fantastic new facility in Romford. The team are making great progress and we will be looking to open the doors to our customers and colleagues in May 2023, just around the corner!.
Work has also started on our new flagship Volvo and Polestar facility, again really positive progress being made at what will be a fabulous facility. We are aiming to open late in quarter 3, not far away and fingers crossed for some sunshine over the summer and early opening Win win!
I am proud to share some significant success stories from across the group in 2022 We achieved the following upper quartile results in balanced scorecard
Colchester Hyundai 3rd in the UK
Volvo Cars Slough 15th in the UK Volvo Cars Watford 16th in the UK
For those who have not heard this term before, scorecard is a manufacturer measure of both performance and consistency, taking in all of the key measures that drive a successful business, these key drivers are calculated every month and compared to the entire network. This is a significant achievement for those teams involved. It is also pleasing that the majority of our businesses are in the top half across the country and we have no businesses in the bottom quartile
Looking forward to even more success in 2023, Colchester no doubt gunning for No.1!. If you aren’t discussing this in your sites please do ask your Head of Business how you can get involved, this is always a team effort!

Daniela joined the Endeavour team in November 2022 and has been an instant success, her ability to learn complex reporting processes and adapt to different tasks has been outstanding. Her work on the DOC, Forecast documents, Board Reports and working capital are all critical to the day to day running of the business

This classic P1800 has been a regular customer at Maidenhead over the last few years. With 21418 miles on the clock, some of you may recognise this car from its many TV appearances! The Saints is a British mystery spy thriller television series that aired on ITV between 1962 and 1969. Templar's car, when it appeared, had the number plate ST1. This model Volvo is still often referred to as "the Saint's car", with miniature versions made by Corgi which have proved popular. The entire series was shot at Associated British Elstree Studios, just over 2 miles from our new Volvo North West location!

2011 - Started off as Assistant Accountant at Jardine Motors Group in Audi/VW & processed from there to Accountant Designate, to then Accountant within the VW Division – was here for 4 years
2015 – Joined Inchcape in their VW Division as Accountant & was there for 25 years
2018 – Joined Jardine Motors Group again as Senior Accountant in the VW Division. Later transferred to the JLR Division & was promoted to Franchise Controller & later Divisional Financial Controller. Was there for 5 years.
2023 – Now at Endeavour as GFC Based in North London, but will also be out & about, visiting sites & the finance team Accounts Team in North London & Accountants will be reporting into me I report into Alex
On a personal level; I enjoy socialising with friends & family, going on walks, reading & binge watching Amazon Prime & Netflix!
ony began his career at Hewen’s garage as an apprentice car mechanic back in 1974, whilst learning his trade in the workshop, Tony soon became drawn to he glamour of the sales environment. He made this notion a reality in 1979 and oved over to sales, working at the same cation which was based at Bridge Road Maidenhead.
n 1983 Tony furthered his career with a move to Ing’s Garage, a newly appointed olvo dealer in Norden Road Maidenhead, some four owners, various rebuilds (the te not Tony) and 40 years later Tony still remains at the same location. He continues to give great service to his xtensive database of very satisfied and loyal customers.
ony has been the backbone of the sales eam for many years, he always has time to lend a hand and help his less experienced colleagues

"My car stopped all of a sudden in front of the dealership (I don't drive a Hyundai) and immediately Ahmet run out to check if everything was ok He also went the extra mile by calling out a few colleagues to help me push the car to the closest garage He then also offered to run some diagnostics on my car to check everything was ok As I said above, I don't drive a Hyundai and I have never been in that dealership before

Conner discovered Tilly's story online, abandoned in Spain as a puppy, Conner knew he had to have her
When Conner picked her up, Tilly was very underweight and scared, but is now doing well with her two cat friends
Tilly is a mixed breed, a cross between a mini pincher and an unknown other breed
