She informed the congregation of the major needs in our community and the need for food parcels with healthy items. Upward and forward until next time!

We celebrated Women’s Day on 27 August. Sharesa (Penny), our auxiliary social worker, entertained the ladies with a scrumptious meal and an inspirational talk by Dr Elsa van der Watt. Ds Elmarie Wiesner from Bloubergstrand Dutch Reformed Church sang beautifully. We were all inspired! ACVV Franschhoek wishes to thank Groendal Primary School for the generous donation they presented to us after their Casual Day fundraising event. ACVV had a part in the Fabiano Conference by selling lunches and suppers and it was a great success. We thank every volunteer for their assistance during these four days.
