Tintswalo Atlantic Rises Again

Tintswalo Atlantic has re-opened for business. Cape Town’s iconic boutique hotel on Chapman’s Peak Drive has been closed since February, when a kitchen fire destroyed the main section of the lodge. Uniquely situated within the Table Mountain National Park, the lodge is environmentally conscious and has a light carbon footprint. The public areas, along with some of the guest suites were completely rebuilt in just six months.

Rwanda is still known for the genocide of 1994 where the people of the country turned on each other while the world stood by. Scenic Eclipse is Christened in New York City by Dame Helen Mirren

Having set sail on her maiden voyage from Reykjavík Iceland, Scenic Eclipse arrived at Pier 88, Manhattan Cruise Terminal, on the 10th September.

Scenic Eclipse Godmother Dame Helen Mirren was joined by her husband, Academy Award-winning director Taylor Hackford and welcomed onboard by ship’s co-owners Glen and Karen Moroney.
