Biography:


Sabreen Staples is a song stylist mastering her craft, a rising star in the musical world who richly engages her audience. She serves up a musical cuisine that stirs the symphonic palate with enjoyment and satisfaction. An effervescent phenom, whose voice spawns a liberating spirit of heart and soul, Sabreen embodies a gift of God given talent bursting forth every note and crescendo. She is an alumnus of the prestigious Berklee College of Music, Boston, Massachusetts. During her evolution in music, Sabreen has performed on the Spirit of Norfolk and the Spirit of Boston dinner cruise lines. She narrated, sang and danced in numerous venues. In 2004, she played the character "Doris" in the off Broadway musical "Mama, I Want to Sing". It received rave reviews from the Boston Globe..."Staples is enchanting... it is clear that music is more than a form of expression...it is pure inspiration.” Sabreen was nominated “Best Actress in a Musical” by the independent reviewers of New England. She sang the National Anthem for the Opening Ceremonies for the Democratic National Convention at Boston’s Fleet Center (the same occasion that first introduced publicly a young politician, Senator Barack Obama). She has also performed the Anthem for the World Champion Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park. Sabreen is destined to be a mainstay in the industry and will continue taking her performances to higher heights.
