NZHL is a home loan and insurance adviser network that approaches things a little differently. We’re a purposedriven (financial freedom, faster) organisation that saves Kiwi’s millions in interest costs every year.
We do this by providing personalised service with continuous coaching, a smart home loan structure, and advisory support and tools that put clients in control, all 50,000 (and counting) of them!
With around 70 locally-owned businesses right across New Zealand and 25 years experience in the market, NZHL is a ‘Passionately Kiwi’ (that’s one of our values) business comprised of more than 300 people.
We were founded by Hamilton businessmen John Erkkila and Murray Ferguson in 1996, with a view that there had to be a better financial way for New Zealanders to get ahead and beat the traditional banking system, while also ensuring sufficient insurance protection. And so, the smart home loan structure, supported by insurance protection was born.
With a loan book in excess of $7 billion, NZHL is now a Government owned subsidiary of Kiwi Group Holdings (KGH) who is also the parent company of Kiwibank.
Pukekohe Builders Ltd is a privately owned construction company which commenced operations in 1969. The company works in the Waikato and greater Auckland district. It started as a small family business and has grown to be an established company now in its second generation.
We pride ourselves on service and producing a quality product, shown by our repeat customers and numerous awards for residential and commercial gold awards in the Registered Master Builders, House of the Year Awards. Completed projects include residential, commercial, industrial and institutional works. Our clients include business owners, developers, home owners, local authorities, school board’s of trustees and government departments.
A warm welcome to everyone attending Bledisloe Park for today’s fixtures against North Harbour United.
We are fortunate to be able to play at Pukekohe Association Football Club and that they can accommodate our home games around other teams that play here. This could not have been achieved without the support of numerous people at both Pukekohe Association Football Club and Franklin United Football Club, so thank you to those who have made this happen. We truly appreciate the relationship between our member clubs and our organisation.
For the second week running it will be nice to catch up with another coach I know well, North Harbour United Coach Sergio Alva, who I have been on numerous coaching courses with. He was here watching our game last weekend so I know his team will be prepared to combat what we offer, whilst trying to play their own brand of football, we are looking forward to the challenge.
Last week was a huge weekend for us beating the league leaders West Auckland at the time, this week we play the new current leaders. At the end of the day every game is worth 3 points, it doesn’t matter if it is against top of the table or bottom, the points are hugely valuable. As teams win, confidence grows and we can see that in our own players as the training lifts in quality and combinations click.
Outside of the Men’s Firsts and Under 23 teams, our Women’s First Team remain unbeaten, our junior and youth are on a small break over the holidays, although a number have been attending our Holiday Programme which is going from strength to strength. If you get a chance during the season, I would highly recommend getting down to support our teams in action.
Finally, thank you to all our sponsors, without sponsors our club could not operate at the level we are performing at. We are fortunate to have great sponsors, although we are always looking for more local companies to support us. Currently we are on the hunt for Men’s and Women’s $500 sponsors along with Junior and Youth Team sponsors. If you are interested, please contact the club admin for more information

Welcome to our supporters, and to the players, staff and supporters of North Harbour United, to Bledisloe Park for this afternoon's games in the Lotto NRFL Northern Conference. Thank you to our friends at Pukekohe AFC and the Bledisloe Park Society for their work in making today possible.
Our Under 23s bounced back from a disappointing loss to Oratia to record a 3 - 2 win at Bledisloe last week, which lifted us to 3rd on the league table. To be honest, it was a less than impressive first half performance, which left us 2 goals down at the break, but after a 'chat' in the dressing room, when the team were reminded of what our expectations are, they completely dominated the 2nd period, scoring 3 unanswered goals and securing the win.
The benefit of having a large squad is being shown this week as last weekend's game left a number of our players with injuries and that, couple with unavailabilty, means we will have some line-up changes for today's game. All our players know that there are no guaranteed starting places and that they may have to spend more time on the bench, or not in the game day squad, than sometimes they would like, but opportunities will present themselves and they have to work hard in training and be ready to grab those opportunities when they appear.
The feeing within the squad is that we are more than capable of matching any team in this league on our day but we have to ensure that we start putting in consistent performances on a weekly basis. If we can add consistency to our game, and continue to take on the information which the coaching staff are passing on, then we will be more than competitive in 2023.
We invite all supporters to head to the Clubrooms after the game and enjoy Bledisloe Park's excellent facilities.
As always, thank you all for attending today's game, your support is hugely appreciated by the players and myself.

Due to changes to the NRFL Northern Conference, it seems there will be a revised draw, and the competetion will start again. This means our 3 games so far will disappear from history! Hatton Photography was at Bledisloe Park last week to capture the action.
Claudia Slingsby-Jones was at Drury Sports Complex to take some great pictures of our Women's 1st Team as they continued their unbeaten run in the NRFL Championship.
