Dear Franklin Classical School Families,
I want to take a moment to share a brief update on the progress of our building purchase and preparations for the new campus.
As of today, closing documents are being finalized and submitted for all parties to review. The closing timeline has document finalization next week, and the purchase concludes on July 15
Our general contractor is ready to begin renovation right away. At the same time, we are developing contingency plans in the event that the building is not ready for us by August 12th. Once we officially close and begin renovation, we will be able to assess how best to proceed with any contingency. We will share those plans once we have more clarity. Our commitment remains to begin the school year smoothly and without disruption.
In the meantime, we are preparing as much as we can ahead of the closing Initial accounts have already been established with Middle Tennessee Electric, Mallory Valley Utility District (water and sewer), KONE Elevators, Jarrett Fire Protection, and our alarm system provider. These are important steps that will help us transition into the space as efficiently as possible once closing is complete.
We remain confident in the Lord’s timing and provision, and we are full of anticipation for all that lies ahead Thank you for your continued prayers, your patience, and your steadfast support It will be a joy to celebrate this exciting chapter with you very soon.
In Christ, Tom Carson Headmaster
