CONSERVATION PROJECT
LOCATION: OLD TOWN MOMBASA
The goal was to apply skills and expertise in architecture, coupled with a profound understanding of the delicate balance between conservation and modern design.
This Centre will comprise of shops, a swahili restaurant to spark the economy, offices and a short term rental apartments on the upper floors for a panoramic view of the sea.
One notable aspect of the proposal is the designation of the government square fronting the site as an outstanding baraza area. This strategic decision is intended to create a vibrant and communal space, contributing to the overall cultural and economic enrichment of the area

A MIXED URBAN DESIGN
Location: Mombasa CBD (Nkrumah Road)
The project involves designing a rich and complex milieu by exploring opportunities, challenges and obstacles at hand and providing solutions to the design.
Among the requirements was to incorporate commercial activities, offices and residential spaces in the design. Coming up with a design that will enhance business and learning activities hence making Nkrumah Road a 24 hr economy street as mentioned in Mombasa vision 2035.
