With a degree in Automotive Design from Coventry University and an extensive background in computer-aided design (CAD) tools, including Alias automotive and Sub-D modelling, as well as proficiency in SolidWorks, and a range of rendering software such as VRED, Key Shot, Photoshop, and Illustrator, I am excited about the opportunity to contribute my creative expertise and technical skills to your innovative team.
My academic journey at Coventry University provided me with a robust foundation in automotive design principles and aesthetics. During this time, I discovered my deep-seated passion for vehicle design, which led me to transition from a successful career as a product designer to specialize in Exterior Design. As an Exterior Designer, I had the privilege of collaborating with dynamic start-ups in India, where I played a pivotal role in pioneering innovative vehicle architectures for emerging brands. These experiences broadened my horizons and ignited a drive within me to continually push the boundaries of design and engineering.
One of my proudest achievements to date is the creation of the complete exterior of a supercar with class A curvature continuity. This project not only demonstrated my precision and meticulous attention to detail but also highlighted my ability to translate conceptual designs into highly detailed 3D models. Moreover, my strong engineering background is evident in my work on creating an engineering model for CNC milling, a project conducted under strict confidentiality governed by a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) for an upcoming start-up in Dublin.
With my academic journey successfully completed, I am eagerly seeking opportunities as a Creative Exterior Designer. The prospect of contributing to the evolution of automotive aesthetics genuinely excites me, and each page within my portfolio has been thoughtfully curated to not only display my design skills but also to kindle a genuine interest and curiosity in the world of automotive design.
