From concept to execution, I had the task to develop all visual communications for web and print for the ACS Reimagination Thought Leader’s Summit 2022. The ACS Reimagination event is a mustattend industry event connecting IT and business leaders with strategies to fuel the digital transformation in Australian organisations. Participants are world-class professionals
from companies such as Google, Microsoft, IBM, ASX and Airtasker.
As the Graphic Designer for this event, I was accountable from all digital assets to all large format print assets. The project required me to deliver the event concept, logo, stage design, print merchandise, print collateral, advertising for web and print with cross-channel proposes; coffee cups, lanyards, small and large signage and more.
From concept to execution, I have developed another national event and all its visual communications for web and print. The ACS Digital Disruptors Awards showcase the leadership, creativity and innovation of Australia’s tech sector. They celebrate the outstanding tech talent in the Australian industry and recognise
the innovators, disruptors, leaders, and emerging professionals, leading the way in digital disruption. The brief required me to deliver event concept, logo, stage design, print merchandise, print collateral, advertising for web and print with crosschannel proposes; coffee cups, lanyards, small and large signage and more.
At ACS, I have had the opportunity to work with a large number of stakeholders, servicing them with a large number of design projects. One of the most important projects I have developed at ACS is a new brand implementation that can be used by all stakeholder of the company. ACS new brand implementation has been an opportunity to create a refreshed and modern look and feel that helped the brand to get away from a very traditional and academic style.
In this project, I have been accountable to create a new visual system where I improved the guidelines in terms brand colours, grids systems, brand shapes, fonts, photography, Iconography and more.
To start with, I build a layout system for ACS that could be used in-house across branches, and primarily by anyone who is not a designer. This meant a few things: the layouts could be managed
through Canva; they would need to be conceptually simple; and they would need to be technically difficult to mess up. To accomplish this, I developed an 8-section grid system that could be successfully applied across dimensions. This new grid system is very hard to mess up while also looking really good.
Staff can build from the circle shaped already in the guideline as it becomes the pivotal element in all of the layouts.
This concept will provide creators the possibility to make different moods through the dynamic layouts.
With the right images and tone of voice – in the writing and design – the new brand implementation will quickly capture people’s attention, share the ACS message, and convey the essence of ACS.
