Chair’s Message
The Canadian Franchise Association (CFA) continues to stand as a pillar of support and advocacy for Canada’s franchising industry. Throughout 2024, our collective efforts have strengthened the sector, fostering growth, innovation, and resilience in an evolving business landscape. As we look back on the achievements of the past year, it is evident that none of the successes highlighted in this 2025 Accomplishments Report would have been possible without the dedication, commitment, and hard work of volunteers from the CFA’s more than 600 corporate members.
Advocacy remains a top priority for the CFA as we work to ensure that federal and provincial governments implement policies conducive to a fair and sustainable future for franchising in Canada. A key accomplishment this year was the formation of a dedicated committee to propose critical amendments to the Arthur Wishart Act , the principal legislation governing franchising in Ontario. In an impressive show of collaboration, this committee successfully submitted recommendations to the Minister of Public and Business Service Delivery within just three weeks, demonstrating the power of unity in driving legislative change.
What’s more, our engagement with policymakers continues to yield results. At last year’s Franchise Law Day in Toronto, we had the opportunity to meet with the Attorney General of Ontario, the Honourable Doug Downey, KC, reinforcing our commitment to protecting the interests of our members and ensuring a thriving franchising business environment in Canada.
The CFA remains steadfast in its commitment to equipping members with the knowledge and resources they need to succeed. In 2024, we expanded our educational offerings, delivering an array of webinars and in-person events tailored to the evolving needs of the industry. Events such as Marketing & Operations Day, Franchise Law Day, and Franchising Meets the Money provided invaluable opportunities for learning, networking, and strategic growth.
Additionally, our mentorship initiatives have played a pivotal role in fostering leadership and knowledge-sharing within the community, ensuring that both new and seasoned franchise professionals have the guidance and support necessary to thrive.
Beyond business, franchising is about building communities. A key element of the CFA’s strategic plan is working to drive home the fact that franchised businesses are small businesses, and play a key role in the strength of local communities. CFA members continue to make a meaningful impact through philanthropic initiatives and corporate social responsibility programs. Throughout 2024, we showcased these efforts in Franchise Canada magazine’s “Giving Back” features, celebrating initiatives such as A&W’s Burger to Beat MS Day, which has raised millions for multiple sclerosis research, and Smoke’s Poutinerie’s We Care event, bringing people together for a shared cause, providing opportunities for children with disabilities to attend accessible summer camps.
These initiatives exemplify the commitment of the CFA and its members to giving back and strengthening the communities in which they operate.
As we close out another remarkable year, the CFA remains dedicated to supporting, educating, and advocating for the franchise industry. The CFA National Convention, alongside our year-round programming, continues to serve as a catalyst for collaboration, innovation, and progress.
We encourage all CFA members to actively engage—join a committee, participate in advocacy efforts, attend CFA events, and leverage the full range of opportunities available to you. The strength of the CFA lies in its members, and together, we are shaping the future of franchising in Canada.
With continued focus on community, education, advocacy, and brand awareness, we look forward to another year of success and shared achievements.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
Ryan Picklyk 2024/2025 Chair, CFA Board of Directors
An annual report is more than a collection of activities from the past year. It’s a chance to stop, take stock, and celebrate our wins while looking ahead to what’s to come. While we can’t know exactly what the future holds, one thing is certain: franchising in Canada is continuing to grow and thrive, thanks in large part to the efforts of our Canadian Franchise Association members!
According to the latest Franchise Forecast report, published in partnership with the Canadian Centre for Economic Analysis (CANCEA), the Canadian franchise industry is holding strong in the face of economic challenges. It remains the 12th largest industry in Canada, projected to contribute more than $133.3 billion to the Canadian GDP in 2025, up from $120 billion in 2024. That’s a 4 per cent increase, which is an amazing achievement. The number of franchise establishments in Canada is also expected to grow in 2025.
CFA members can be proud of the way we are coming together to grow our community and propel the industry forward.
It’s no accident. Last year, the CFA put into practice our strategic plan for 2024-2027, focused around four pillars: community, education, advocacy, and brand awareness. Ultimately our work in these areas supports our purpose: to help everyday Canadians realize the dream of building their own business through the power of franchising.
Over the past year, more than 400 volunteers supported the CFA’s various initiatives by participating in committees, contributing content to our publications and podcasts, working at our events, and by otherwise being effective ambassadors of what our organization stands for. We offer our heartfelt thanks to these franchise champions for their efforts over the course of the year—find the full list of volunteers recognized in this report. Perhaps your name will be reflected among their ranks in the future!
Throughout 2024, our committees remained engaged in executing our strategic initiatives, with 32 active committees including those introduced to focus on government advocacy and increasing awareness of franchising.
Our education initiatives in 2024 included expanding our Learn & Grow webinar program, which led to more than 600 attendees in 2024. The Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) program also reached new heights, with 4,550 credits offered last year, a 50 per cent increase over 2023. For the first time, we also offered CFE-accredited evening education sessions and held a live Fran-Guard session at our CFA offices. Overall, the CFA hosted 51 educational events in 2024, featuring 351 speakers who provided insight into essential topics relevant to CFA members.
On the advocacy front, our CFA team broke records with one of our biggest Franchise Awareness Days ever on May 29, 2024,
where members participated in 26 meetings with elected officials and senior staff at Queen’s Park, including 10 ministers. Along with engaging provincial and federal governments, we aligned with other trade associations for joint letter submissions and to ensure Shop Local campaigns included franchises as local small businesses.
The CFA’s reach continues to grow, as our brand awareness efforts have made great strides over the past year.
Our social media presence grew to more than 25,000 followers, achieving 3.4 million impressions throughout 2024, representing a 70 per cent growth over 2023! Through this social media presence, our content platforms, and tradeshows, our Franchise Canada brand reached an audience of more than 805,000 Canadians in the past year.
We also made major strides in increasing awareness of the franchise business model among the general public. Through our targeted PR campaigns, the CFA achieved more than 169.6 million positive media impressions in 2024, a 52 per cent increase over the record we previously set in 2023.
In 2024 we soft-launched our Look for the Logo campaign, which helps those considering franchising understand the importance of partnering with qualified CFA member brands. We encourage all members to share and display the CFA member logo to highlight your commitment to the CFA member community.
Finally, another major accomplishment this year is the introduction of World Franchise Day, the first instance of which will be held on June 11, 2025. This worldwide day of recognition began as an idea that grew into reality through the hard work of CFA staff, the Canadian World Franchise Day subcommittee, and the World Franchise Council Task Force. Read more in this report about how you can get involved to spread the word on franchising and celebrate World Franchise Day this year!
All in all, the future of franchising is bright. A heartfelt thanks to our members for helping grow the franchising industry from $120 billion to a projected $133.3 billion. To all of you who continue to strive for success in new and creative ways, we look forward to witnessing and supporting your growth, in 2025 and beyond!

The Canadian Franchise Association (CFA) is a national, not-for-profit association of more than 600 corporate members representing more than 40,000 franchise business owners. We are the voice of the franchise community and the recognized authority on franchising in Canada. We speak for a business sector that represents every industry and touches the lives of every Canadian, in every community across the country.
Canadian franchises are projected to contribute more than $133 billion to the Canadian economy in 2025 and create jobs for almost two million Canadians. Canadian franchises enable almost 68,000 hardworking Canadians to be their own boss as the owner of their own small business franchise locations, serving their neighbours in communities from coast to coast to coast.
We believe that franchising is ultimately about people. It’s about everyday Canadians working in partnership, sharing success, and Growing Together®. At the CFA, we serve people in the Canadian franchise community by providing support, learning resources, growth opportunities, and advocating to protect the franchise business model.
The Canadian Franchise Association (CFA) fulfills the purpose of helping everyday Canadians realize the dream of building their own business through the power of franchising. Everything we do works toward that end. That’s why in 2024, the CFA continued to strengthen and advocate on behalf of the franchising industry in Canada, grow the CFA member community, and connect Canadians with franchise opportunities.
In 2024, that meant working with our CFA community to adapt to the current economic landscape in Canada and to prepare for the changes that will shape the future of franchising. The CFA’s latest strategic plan, encompassing the pillars of community, education, advocacy, and brand awareness, is being applied at every level of the organization to help us better serve our members and the industry as a whole.
Through this report you’ll see plenty of “firsts,” records broken, and goals exceeded. The key developments and accomplishments in 2024 centred around growing our community of members, delivering learning opportunities, advocating on issues that impact franchising, and bringing more Canadians into the franchising fold. Below you’ll see an overview of how our mission spurred us to further accomplishments this year.
The CFA is always working to grow our membership and create opportunities for our members to connect. This past year, we provided our members with new programs and benefits, offered opportunities for members to share experiences and learn from one another, and developed strategic partnerships to help address member needs.
Created opportunities to connect. In-person networking events provided CFA members the opportunity to meet and connect with one another. Six Meet & Greet events were held across the country in the Atlantic region, Pacific region, and Ontario, allowing more than 500 registrants to meet face to face. The CFA team also officially launched an in-person engagement program this year, creating a regular schedule to visit members and their offices, and keep community connection strong. The CFA’s popular annual member golf tournament was also a hit, bringing together more than 100 members at Royal Ontario Golf Club in Milton, Ontario.
Celebrated franchise excellence. 2024 CFA awards program winners were celebrated at the Recognition Awards Luncheon and Awards Gala, held at the CFA National Convention in Niagara Falls, Ontario, and highlighted in our CFA publications.
Welcomed new members. The CFA’s Member Onboarding committee and monthly onboarding webinars helped educate new members about the CFA and its offerings, as the CFA welcomed 46 new franchise brands and 56 new support service/supplier members to our community in 2024. The CFA membership team also fielded inquiries from 293 contacts interested in membership. We also launched a new online membership application and a lead nurturing program with Cadence Franchising, making the process of welcoming our new members more seamless than ever.
Deepened strategic partnerships. 2024 brought the CFA’s first global partnerships with other national franchise associations, the Association of Chain and Franchise Promotion Taiwan (ACFPT) and Philippines Franchise Association as well as continued work with the World Franchise Council, ensuring that the CFA is part of shaping the community of franchising on a global stage. The CFA also continued its strategic partnerships with the International Franchise Association (IFA), MVF Global, Global Franchise magazine, and the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG).
Invited business beyond our borders. The CFA successfully held the highest number of Expand Your Brand into Canada webinars ever in a fiscal year in 2024 (six), helping to educate international brands on the benefits of franchising in Canada, and joining the CFA.
Told the stories of our members. The CFA profiled and promoted our member brands this year through the Franchise Canada Chats podcast, online videos, exclusive web content, Franchise Canada magazine features, and marketing campaigns. From franchisee success stories to promoting member brand opportunities, we ensured our members’ voices were heard.

To maximize franchising knowledge and prepare for what the future will bring in the franchise industry, education products, resources, and events provide our members with everything from expert insights to facilitated peer-to-peer support and opportunities to share best practices. Enhanced the scope of our in-person events. The CFA’s annual Marketing Day event expanded to Marketing & Operations Day, with specialized programming developed to meet the needs of franchise operations. The annual Franchising Meets the Money event evolved, with educational roundtables supplementing this year’s event, which was the largest and most successful ever. Recordings of these and other virtual learning sessions are also available for self-paced online learning.
Helped business owners consider franchising. Throughout 2024, the CFA held five Franchise Your Business events, educating small business owners on what it takes to turn a thriving business into a successful franchise system. More than 60 registrants learned from 30 speakers.
Connected with higher education. The CFA partnered with Humber College to deliver a presentation on Franchising – Entrepreneurship Fundamentals to future business leaders enrolled in the post-secondary institution.
Continued the growth of our CFE program. The “Canadianized” version of the Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) program, licensed from the International Franchise Association, reached 190 enrollments and celebrated the achievements of 52 graduates since launching in 2021. Fran-Guard Live training was offered twice, at the 2024 CFA convention and, for the first time, at the CFA offices, with four speakers and more than 60 attendees.
Offered educational events after hours. For the first time in CFA history, we launched an Evening Education series, with four CFE-accredited workshops delivered to over 50 attendees.
The CFA continues to work tirelessly to empower the franchise industry, advocating to the provincial and federal governments for policies that protect and strengthen franchising in Canada. The economic impact of franchising cannot be understated, and the CFA’s programs, contributions, and recommendations ensure that those holding power across the country recognize its value.
Held key meetings with government representatives across Canada. The CFA hosted its 2024 Franchise Awareness Day in May, holding 26 meetings with elected officials and staff, including a record 10 ministerial meetings.
Provided consultations to government to effect upcoming policy. The CFA provided a submission to the Government of Canada regarding the 2024 budget and consulted with the Ontario government on proposed amendments to the Arthur Wishart Act
Successfully opposed the proposed capital gains inclusion rate change. In response to the Government of Canada’s proposed change in the capital gains inclusion rate, the CFA helped build a coalition of other industry associations to highlight the effect these changes would have on everyday Canadians, including franchised small business owners. Along with garnering national media attention, this coalition caused the government to delay bringing the amendments forward for approval.
Shared the success stories of everyday Canadians through franchising. During Franchise Awareness Month in June, the CFA emphasized our members’ economic and community contributions to the Canadian economy. Franchise Awareness Month shared information and celebrated the benefits of the franchise sector, resulting in more than 79,000 social media impressions.
Kept CFA members in the know. The CFA sent out 47 advocacy updates to members in 2024, keeping them up to date on current affairs, legal developments, and economic news, while sharing other relevant news with our engaged audience of franchisors.

Whether through our nationally-recognized podcast, Franchise Canada magazine, or our widely-followed social media accounts, the CFA worked to inform, educate, and make connections with the general public.
Brand awareness also extends to increasing the industry’s understanding of the value of CFA membership in our pursuit to increase membership and promote the Association on national and international levels. Through magazine and website content, social media, tradeshows, podcast episodes, videos, and public relations efforts, we continued to promote franchising and increase awareness of opportunities for Canadians to realize their dream of business ownership.

Our CFA Membership App continues to provide unprecedented access to on-the-go resources for members, including a member directory. New live events integration into the app provided member attendees to CFA events this year with easy access to event agendas, speaker profiles, and more. The CFA’s Advocacy team is the first line of defence in protecting and advancing franchising in Canada. It monitors government regulations, programs, and announcements and engages with elected officials from coast to coast to ensure they are informed about the benefits of franchising.
In 2024, the advocacy team worked tirelessly to ensure decision makers at all levels of government understand the franchise business model and the important role it plays in supporting the country’s economy and the livelihoods of the nearly two million Canadians who are employed by franchise businesses.
Through both in-person and virtual meetings with government representatives, the CFA continues to emphasize our value within the halls of power across Canada. We held one of our biggest Franchise Awareness Days on May 29, where franchisors, franchisees, and suppliers all came together in collective defence of the franchise industry. CFA members held 26 meetings with elected officials and senior staff at Queen’s Park in Toronto, including meetings with 10 ministers. We raised many issues important to members, including common employer, changing workforce demographics, and the impact of legislation and current affairs on small businesses and the entrepreneurial Canadians who run them.
Throughout the year, the CFA and its members engaged with the federal and provincial governments through pre-budget consultations, opposition to proposed capital gains inclusion rate changes, and proposed amendments to the Arthur Wishart Act. The CFA continues to engage with the Government of Saskatchewan as it works to proclaim the Franchise Disclosure Act
• Most ministerial meetings at Franchise Awareness Day with 10 meetings
• Consulted with the Government of Canada as part of the development of the 2025 budget
• Proposed a series of common-sense amendments to the Arthur Wishart Act
• Coordinated with other leading industry associations in Canada to oppose proposed increases to the Capital Gains Inclusion Rate
• Welcomed the Attorney General of Ontario, the honourable Doug Downey, KC, to give a keynote address at the 2024 Franchise Law Day
• Held an exclusive ministerial roundtable with the Attorney General of Ontario
Following the success of Franchise Awareness Day in 2024, the CFA continued to engage with the Minister of Public and Business Service Delivery on proposed amendments to the Arthur Wishart Act . Through this engagement, the CFA was invited to make recommendations on simple changes that the Ontario government could make to provide further clarity in the Act. The CFA established a subcommittee, chaired by Larry Weinberg, which included Ryan Picklyk, David Druker, Todd Wylie, Sherry McNeil, Nathan Oxford, Andraya Frith, and Peter Viitre.

As part of the 2024 federal budget, the Government of Canada proposed changing the capital gains inclusion rate to 67 per cent on all gains over $250,000 in a given year. As part of this change, the government argued that it would affect the roughly 0.13 per cent of Canadians who have an annual average income of $1.33 million. In reality, these changes would affect many franchised small business owners who invested everything they had into their businesses, planning to rely on the income from a sale to fund their retirements.
In response, the CFA helped to build a coalition of industry associations to oppose the proposed changes and to highlight the effect they would have on everyday Canadians, including franchised small business owners. This coalition received significant national media attention and caused the federal government to delay bringing the amendments forward for approval.
With the prorogation of parliament in early 2025, these proposed changes will not move forward for the foreseeable future, and the Canada Revenue Agency has been instructed to stop their implementation.
Over the course of 2024, the CFA worked with other industry associations to send joint letters on behalf of the business community in Canada ensuring that supply chains were protected. The CFA helped to apply pressure on the Class 1 railway labour disruptions, BC Ports Labour Disruptions, CBSA Labour Disruptions, and potential labour disruptions at the Port of Montreal and Air Canada. The full joint letters are available in the Advocacy tab of the Members Only Area of CFA.ca.
Franchise Awareness Day 2024 took place on May 29 at Queen’s Park in Toronto, Ontario. The CFA met with 26 Members of Provincial Parliament (MPPs) and senior staff to raise awareness of the franchise business model and the importance of the franchisee-franchisor relationship, and to lobby for the franchise business community. Some of the issues the CFA brought to the attention of these elected officials included clarification surrounding common/joint employer, the changing workforce, and the regulatory burdens on small business.
The MPPs and staff members we met with included:
• Hon. Peter Bethlenfalvy’s staff
• Stephanie Bowman, MPP, OLP

In 2024, the CFA and its members actively engaged key decision-makers on behalf of the franchise community in Canada. Much effort was made to help grow the reach of the CFA’s relationships within the Government of Ontario. After a very successful Franchise Awareness Day, the CFA continued to foster relationships with key elected officials in Government. Most notable of this work is the ongoing dialogue with Hon. Todd McCarthy, that culminated with the Minister requesting the CFA recommend amendments to the Arthur Wishart Act
The CFA continues to be active in monthly meetings with the Federal Commissioner of Employers Business Liaison Group. This group gives the CFA the opportunity to gain key insights on actions taken by the federal government that affect employers and helps to coordinate an industry response through the Commissioner and their office.
In a CFA first, the Hon. Doug Downey, KC, the Attorney General of Ontario, accepted an invitation to attend the 2024 Franchise Law Day and delivered a keynote address to attendees. Additionally, Minister Downey agreed to meet with selected members to discuss key priorities for our membership. The conversation was very beneficial, with the Attorney General providing valuable feedback that the CFA continues to incorporate into its advocacy efforts.
In June 2024, the CFA highlighted member franchisees in our Franchise Awareness Month campaign. Emphasizing franchisees’ roles as local small business owners, we focused on their community and economic contributions. Throughout the month, we drove this key messaging about franchising via social media and the CFA’s weekly email campaigns.
Franchise Awareness Month helped to raise awareness among all Canadians about the franchise industry, by sharing success stories about franchisees, celebrating the philanthropy that franchisees provide to their communities, educating the public about various franchise sectors, and more.
Key social media stats:

The CFA sent out 47 advocacy updates to members in the past year, keeping them up to date on current affairs, political and economic news, updates to government programs, and any other news or resources that would be helpful for franchisors and franchisees.
With elections on the horizon this year, the CFA is prepared for potentially significant change, federally and provincially in Ontario. CFA Advocacy has prepared to defend and advance franchising across Canada.
With the Ontario General Election taking place at the end of February, the CFA and its members are perfectly positioned to lobby the new government at the next Franchise Awareness Day on May 28, 2025, at Queen’s Park in Toronto, Ontario.
During this year’s event, the franchise community will continue to advocate on key issues including common employer, labour relations, franchise disclosure, the minimum wage, employment standards, and fairness for franchised small businesses.
A federal election is expected to take place in 2025, and the CFA is prepared to make franchise issues an election issue in key ridings across the country. We will be prepared for our members to get in front of the new government to advocate for policies that support the growth of franchising through small business issues like access to labour and capital, as well as reducing the regulatory burden.
Together, the franchise community will continue to effect change and provide the support that you, our members, need.
In 2024, the CFA continued its brand awareness mission, helping our members emphasize their standing across Canada’s business landscape and further ingratiating them in the minds of Canadian entrepreneurs as a stable, lucrative opportunity. The CFA also produced a range of valuable resources and tools under our Franchise Canada banner to help prospective entrepreneurs and the general public successfully launch their franchise businesses.
In 2024, the Franchise Canada brand continued to play a key role in increasing awareness of franchising and CFA member brands to prospective franchisees, reaching an audience of 805,219. Between interviews with driven franchisees and established members of the industry, Franchise Canada Chats also addressed concerns around AI and shared advice and expertise through our annual special episode featuring the Franchisees of the Year. In 2024, the industry took notice. Franchise Canada Chats was recognized as a finalist for Best Podcast at the 2024 National Magazine Awards: B2B, showcasing the excellence of our podcast among the wider industry of business-to-business media and services. We also brought the podcast directly to new audiences as a live event at the Franchise Canada Show in Toronto. Look out for season 9 of Franchise Canada Chats in Spring 2025!

In addition to the existing brand awareness products, the CFA created many new touchpoints to interact with our audience and emphasize our presence as the premier franchise organization in Canada, providing best-in-class resources to help people make their business ownership dreams become reality.
The Look for the Logo campaign serves to further stratify CFA member brands in Canada’s business landscape. The campaign encourages those researching franchise opportunities to Look for the CFA Logo, as CFA member brands are held to a high ethical and professional standard; choosing a CFA member means you can trust that you’re choosing to invest in a highly qualified brand that’s committed to franchise excellence. The campaign also reinforces that when you choose a CFA member brand, you’re gaining access to the CFA community and its range of valuable resources.
The CFA launched its Brand Awareness Open Houses, an activation series that allows CFA member representatives to meet face to face with our Content & Marketing team to learn more about CFA products they can leverage to build a comprehensive brand awareness strategy. This also provides an opportunity for members to hear from their peers and gather new insights through informative speakers and presentations.
The CFA launched a supplement to our annual Franchise Canada Directory that introduces the latest CFA member brands to our audience. This provided an opportunity for new brands that entered or re-entered CFA membership outside of our normal membership timeline to have another touchpoint with our engaged audience. It also provided an opportunity for Franchise Canada readers to engage with the latest franchise brands in Canada.
In 2024, the CFA continued to express itself as the leading voice of Canada’s franchise industry, by focusing on promoting the benefits of franchising to the general public. The CFA generated 169.6 million positive media impressions through 610 media stories during its 2024 fiscal year, about 57 million more than the number of impressions achieved in 2023.
This increase is driven by the promotion of the CFA Awards Program and its winners—stories that were picked up in local media outlets across the country. Participation in media stories educating the general public about the franchise business model, and expressing franchising as an opportunity for new Canadians, as well as the contributions of franchisees to their local communities, drove additional success through the campaigns.
The CFA’s social media presence continued to grow in 2024, increasing our reach on several platforms. As of January 31, 2025, the CFA had 25,413 followers across its social platforms. We continue to use engagement analysis, represented by clicks, reactions, and likes, to drive our social media content strategy. Key campaigns for Franchise Awareness Month, Small Business Month, Franchisee Appreciation Month, and the Franchise Canada Show piloted strong growth in our social media presence:
15% increase in followers
70% increase in impressions
111% increase in engagement
Moving toward the future, our focus will remain on growing our social media presence, while also encouraging audiences to regularly engage with the content through likes, shares, comments, and more.
In February, the World Franchise Council (WFC) officially declared June 11, 2025 the first-ever World Franchise Day. Established by the WFC, this global initiative recognizes the contributions of franchisees as small business owners in their communities, and the major economic impact that franchising has locally, nationally, and worldwide. It will bring together WFC member associations to celebrate the international franchise community and increase awareness of the franchise business model across the globe.
This initiative began with the CFA, which brought the concept to the WFC meetings in November 2024. The CFA team has worked collaboratively with Reshift Media and key stakeholders at the CFA and WFC to establish the event, including creating a launch plan and marketing assets to ensure coordinated celebrations throughout the world this June.
We will be looking to our CFA members to participate in the global celebrations by highlighting the role their franchisees play in their local communities and encouraging consumers to visit their locations on World Franchise Day. We will also be seeking member support as we aim to engage media and government officials to reach a broader audience with our key messages about franchising.
The CFA’s official launch for World Franchise Day took place from the main stage of CFA National Convention in Niagara Falls, Ontario on Sunday, April 6.
We look forward to Celebrating Franchising with our CFA member community on June 11!

The CFA provides a full range of programs and services to help our members grow through the support of the franchise community. These include advocacy, education and training, industry information and best practice articles, networking, and lead generation. None of these programs and services would be possible without the help of our volunteers! Many of our members have volunteered their time and expertise as event speakers, task force members, committee members, article contributors, and events volunteers. The CFA launched the Volunteer Recognition Program to show our thanks. We are honoured to recognize the contributions of our franchise system and franchise support/supplier members.
Thank you to all of our outstanding CFA volunteers!
