As an F45 Training Licensee you will be delivering group-training classes to members that pay a monthly fee. Two people can operate this business, therefore, management of staff is simple and inexpensive.

A typical session on Monday, Wednesday and Friday will include 45 minutes of cardiovascular exercise always focusing on different muscle groups. Members are carefully guided through varied and creative exercises and given personal attention designed to achieve maximum results. The program developed and practised by F45 Training was founded on solid principals of variation, functional life movement and more importantly, a blend of teamwork, which always guarantees fun.

All sessions are provided to you monthly, in advance.

On Tuesdays and Thursdays, F45 Training operate the strength classes. This workout is still high energy, burning 750+ calories, ensuring our members still leave these sessions - drenched!

Typically a member will complete a minimum of nine different functional exercises.

Functional Training Philosophy F45 Training has continued to build on our philosophy, adopting the holistic training approach to suit any person at any fitness level. We have taken very seriously, the importance of all movement within a persons’ daily life and used this to create functional exercises that target the entire neuromuscular system. These carefully modified techniques ensure overall improvement of our members’ strength, ability and performance of all movement.

In functional training, it is as critical to exercise the specific movement, as it is to train the muscles involved in the movement. The brain, which controls muscular movement, thinks in terms of whole motions, not individual muscles.

Exercises performed on most traditional machines are not functionaltraining activities because they isolate muscles in a stabilized, controlled environment.

Isolation is not the key. A continuum of functionality needs to exist because this is how we are naturally built to move.

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT US After 10 years of working as an equities trader in London and Sydney, Rob decided it was time for something more rewarding. At the time, his friend Luke Istomin was really making his mark as a celebrity PT. While Luke was transforming Hugh Jackman for Wolverine, Rob developed a business plan that would enable them to license / franchise their innovative style of training.

They were always extremely confident of making a serious mark on the industry. They pioneered a new style of training called “Functional 45 minute training”. This F45 style was a holistic approach to training that both Rob and Luke adopted many years earlier, combining only the best parts of all cardio and resistance techniques.

Having both played team sports all their lives, they drew from their skill and knowledge to develop a group training experience that can only be described as unique, innovative, dynamic, but most importantly FUN! With the blend of business acumen and PT genius, F45 has all the systems, controls and structure in place.
