ABOUT ME My passion for Architecture, after my Bachelor at Politecnico di Milano increased, leading my desire to learn other international approaches towards the discipline. My curiosity brought me to Ireland, where I had the opportunity to work for Cunnane Stratton Reynolds, an important Irish Landscape Architecture firm, with projects throughout Ireland and the UK. This experience provided me the opportunity to learn time management skills, to meet project deadlines, and work effectively in a team. Additionally, it highlighted to me the significant impact that Landscape Architecture can have on people’s lives.

Currently, I am seeking a part-time internship that will allow me to make this difference while studying at AHO and expanding my knowledge of landscape architecture.

CUT ‘N’ SEW Academic Project | 2023 | AHO Awards Mention for Professionalism Oslo (NO) Tveita is a highly enclosed neighbourhood, characterized by distinctive topography and a road that acts as a city wall. The inhabitants greatly appreciate this enclosure, and even as a visitor, the sensation of being in a safe space is immediately perceptible. However, the shopping centre requires many parking lots for cars, making this specific area of Tveita a very vehicle dominated and unpleasant space. Perhaps removing the mall and reinforcing the enclosure feeling would transform Tveita into a community district, emphasizing the potential of a smarter living.

This is the objective of ‘Cut n Sew’: to establish a self-sufficient community capable of providing its facilities and producing local goods through the widespread availability of community and allotment gardens for its residents.

The demolition of the mall and subsequent relocation of shops along the main street will create a more inviting shopping district for residents.

This new area will accommodate shops, cafes, and restaurants both indoors and outdoors, catering to everyday needs.

Additionally, the necessity of parking lots would be reduced, allowing greenery to reclaim its space and reconnecting the park south of Tveita with the park among the dwellings.

After a first period of phytoremediation process the healed ground will be used for public and semi-private functions such as community and allotment gardens, play area, bbq areas...

DATA VAULT International Competition | Finalist Mention | 2023 Park of Lessinia (IT) Data Vault is the new frontier of Data Centres, developed to be a complete sustainable and safe place for data and people. Designed to follow the natural slope of the ground and the presence of the existing bunkers in the site establishing himself the goal to touch as less as possible the site area, and adapt his shape and functions to the ground instead.

In addition to a 2000 sqm data centre at the underground floor level, the building also has offices, classrooms, study areas, dining areas, a sport centre and residencies to guest hundreds of students and workers.

The building has been designed to keep the data centre safe from high temperatures, sun irradiation, floods or any event which may cause malfunctions to the service.

Legend 1. Vegetative layer consisting of herbaceous perennial ground cover; the mixture in cuttings is composed of different species of Sedum in varying proportions and lengths; planting at a minimum rate of 80 gr/m2.

Cultivation layer consisting of DAKU and a mix of volcanic aggregates, having a granulometry within the limits defined by UNI 11235/2015 grain size and the apparent dry density between 650 and 750 kg/m3, and the substrate weight, when saturated, is lower than 1,072 kg/m3. 10 cm settled installation.

FLUVIAL PARK Academic Project | 2021 Melzo (IT) Melzo is a small town close to Milan, Italy, this area is an agricultural land prone to flooding by the Molgora stream. Melzo is an expanding town due to proximity to Milan, characterized by the presence of the river.

The plan is based on the relationship with the Molgora stream’s water, because its effects are significant on the landscape.

The plan area has become a fluvial park that varies according to the seasons and the weather, as it is permeable to floods and will be able to manage the water excess in case of these events.

The park will also provide greenhouses able to host planting areas during winter as well using an intricated canal system to irrigate either the agricoltural fields and the greenhouses..

SCHOLARSTOWN HOUSE Professional Project | 2022 Dublin (IE)

The site is situated to Scholarstown, Dublin 16, located at southeast of the city to the junction of Scholarstown Road and Orlagh Grove. The most significant feature with historical value on site is Scholarstown House, first built in 1588, it is a detached two-storey house, which was rebuilt after a fire in 1909. A lot of the original fabric and its attractive setting early twentieth-century house have been retained. Nowadays, the house is listed as a protected structure.

Main objective has been to protect and enhance the presence of this building with a small park with a big variety of vegetation and create an open space for the new apartments block. Consultation and work along with architects and engineers has been essential to develop the project and match the deadlines.

2 - 2no. 75mm diameter stakes pressure treated driven min 1000mm below ground 400 - 600mm above ground, with specified biodegradable rubber strap around wire at tree and nailed to 100x30x950mm crossbar.

Locate stakes 475mm from tree trunk.

3 - 6cm diameter perforated flexible plastic drainage pipe positioned as shown over rootball with one end open to surface to facilitate watering and capped.

4 - Tree pits to be min. size 1000 x 1000 x 1000mm or 150mm greater than rootball which ever is greater. Remove the full depth of topsoil and set aside for reuse. Scarify sides and back fill pit with 400mm depth of subsoil in 200mm layers and lightly firmed in. Incorporate a soil ameliorant into base and back fill remainer of pit with topsoil mixed with soil ameliorants in 150mm firmed-in layers. All planting to receive a minimum of 25 lt water per m2 immediately after planting.

5 - 50mm medium grade bark mulch in 800mm dia circle to base of trunk.

6 - Root protection barrier. Product: GreenBlue Urban Reroot 600 or equivalent. Joints to be taped.
