Women’s Luncheon &
Mission Projects All women are invited to the Second Annual “Bring a Piece of Salad” Luncheon
to be held Wednesday, July 31, in Spencer Hall. In addition to the luncheon, we will be packing up school supplies for children of need at Grace Place as well as filling detergent bags for The Shelter for Abused Women and Children. We ask everyone in the congregation to please consider buying school supplies for this project: crayons, pencils, notebooks, and loose-leaf paper, etc. School supplies can be dropped off in Spencer Hall from July 18 to 30. If you would like to help with the hands-on mission work, come to Spencer Hall On July 31 at 11:00 a.m. The luncheon will then be held at Noon. Come for both the mission work and the luncheon or just the luncheon if you prefer. What is a “piece” of salad, you ask? Bring a container of some type of salad topping: cheese, croutons, chopped tomatoes--you get the idea. It will be very casual-- paper plates and all. No reports, no business, just fun and a chance to get together and to get to know each other better. This party is for all women of the church. You don’t have to belong (or want to belong) to the PW organization. We hope that the younger ladies in our church will join us too. You can make reservations for the luncheon in Spencer Hall on Sunday, July 21 or July 28.
