t’s been quite an “entertaining” ride here at Mashantucket since 1993, when Old Blue Eyes himself, Frank Sinatra, christened the 1,400-seat Fox Theater. Things took off from there, with highlights over the years including the 2001 arrival of boxing at Foxwoods with the Evander Holyfield/ John Ruiz heavyweight title fight; opening of the region's largest Hard Rock Cafe in 2002 and the introduction of Liquid Sundays, New England’s hottest pool party in 2009.
