Fowlerville High volleyball teams hosting a ‘Pink Out’ to raise money for cancer research The Fowlerville volleyball teams are hosting a ‘Pink Out’ on Monday, Oct. 13, in the high school competition gym. This special event will be raising money for cancer research. Along with great volleyball competition against Lansing Catholic Central, there’ll be giveaways and games. In addition, a variety of pink items will be on sale. There will also be pink items for sale as another means of raising funds. Each of the girls will be playing and dedicating their
match to a special person who has been touched by cancer. The freshmen and JV games start as 5 p.m., followed by the varsity match at 6:30 p.m. So, wear PINK and come out and support the Glads and HOPE for a cure! Helping promote this special event are the varsity captains, from left, Emily Hamann, Olivia Roedel, Alysa LaPlante, and Jasmine Brake.
