Fowler Dodge surprises Capitol Hill High School with Brand New Instruments The CHHS Pride of the Southside Band has been rapidly growing in recent years. As a result, they were running low on instruments. 98 percent of the students use schoolowned instruments, and some of the instruments were over 30 years old. Mrs. Asbury, band teacher, posted a request for $13,000 in new instruments on the Foundation for Oklahoma City Public School’s website, Partners in Action. When Fowler Dodge saw the request, they wanted to help bring new instruments to students in

the dealership’s immediate community. On March 8, Fowler Dodge, with the help of Mickey Mantle’s Steakhouse, surprised Mrs. Asbury’s class with 15 new instruments. Sales advisor Chris Branda and Keaton Coats represented Fowler Dodge presented the instruments just in time for their band competition. The surprise was filmed and aired by local TV news.
