It's no wonder Jaipur was ranked by Conde Nast(American mass media company) as the 7th best destination to visit in Asia. However, the stunning architecture and pink-painted avenues are actually what make Jaipur special. Over 3 million people call Jaipur "home," so it is a huge city. It's hard to think of what to see and do here. The architectural tours, fantastic food, shopping, palaces, and gardens allow people to really get immersed in the neighborhood culture. City Palace Jaipur is chock packed with beautifully designed palaces and forts. This is one of the many reasons the populous city is loved by tourists. Traveling throughout Jaipur allows tourists to visit a true variety of architectural wonders. City Palace is one of the beautiful wonders. City Palace, positioned in the old city region of Jaipur, is a huge complex made up of stunning courtyards and properly manicured gardens. Why is 'City Palace' so special? Maybe because that the building shows a mixture of two types of architecture: Rajasthani and Mughal. Perhaps one of the most stunning views at City Palace is the peacock gate at the Pitam Niwas Chowk (the inner courtyard). In the inner courtyard, there are four gates, each representing another type of season. The peacock gate represents autumn, the lotus gate represents summer, the green gate represents spring, and the rose gate symbolizes winter. These beautiful gates are great symbols of the workmanship done at this palace.
