PTE Test Format To complete a PTE Academic test, you will need to attend an Online Pearson test. You have to use a computer and headset to listen to, read and respond to questions. There is three-hour test session during which there are three main parts to the test: 1) speaking and writing (together), 2) listening and 3) reading. There is an optional 10-minute break between the reading and listening parts. During this test, you have to find twenty different question formats, ranging from multiple choice to essay writing and interpreting information. PTE Academic contains common academic English in which you have to just improve your accent, grammar etc., so you will hear excerpts from lectures and view graphs and charts. You will hear a range of accents in the test, from British and American to non-native speakers, so you will be known to the type of accents you will encounter in everyday life.

Test Format: 1.) Speaking and writing:

This is a time based session. The time give to this sections is 77-93 minutes. You will be tested for your writing and speaking skills.  To conduct Speaking test, your skills will be tested by your ability to produce spoken English in an Academic Environment.  To conduct Writing Test, your skills will be tested by write a content or an essay in academic writing to improve your grammar and spellings.
