In the spirit of many past pen inventors, Michael started designing better gripping pens in the early 1990’s due to calluses on his fingers. The Limited Collections are an extension of the Aluminum FAT BOY® pen line featuring screw on caps in rollerball and fountain pen styles using the highest quality nibs. Each pen is machined in the USA. Mechanical pencils in 0.5mm and 0.7mm are also available in all retractable styles.

Ready, Aim, Fire …Michael’s Civil War Cannons Collection! Machined from heavy, solid bronze bars into the accurate cannon shapes of both the Confederate States – Macon Arsenal Foundry and the United States – Boston Foundry. Each pen has detailed markings found on the original 1863 bronze cannons located at the Gettysburg battlefield. A customized desk cannon stand is available for each instrument. Limited to 388 pens of each finish (inclusive of mechanical pencils). Note: The bronze barrels will naturally oxidize into a darker finish over time unless buffed, and may exhibit tiny random pinholes on the surface as do the original cannons. Gettysburg Collection LIMITED EDITION Each ball pen/gel pen barrel (one dated for each day of the 1863 battle) is machined from solid copper, naval brass or stainless steel bars into the shape of an 1850’s handgun barrel used during the Civil War, and are quite heavy like the guns themselves. Limited to 188 pens in each metal (inclusive of mechanical pencils). Note: The copper & brass barrels will naturally oxidize into a darker finish over time unless buffed. The stainless steel barrel will not change color.
