ANNOUNCEMENTS

CONSTITUTION AMENDMENTS, COVENANT RENEWAL Two changes to the Founders Constitution & By-Laws have been proposed by the Elders: a Statement on Gender and Sexuality and a Statement on Final Authority. These statements can be picked up at the Welcome Table in the foyer. On Sunday, October 11th, we will hold an affirmation vote following the morning service. Then, Pastor Caldwell will lead our membership in a time of covenant renewal.

FELLOWSHIP MEAL Following the morning worship service on October 11, we will hold a fellowship meal on the church grounds. Food and games will be provided by the church, and a bake sale of desserts will be offered as a fund raiser to help remodel the kitchen in the Admin. Bldg. There will be no PM service on October 11.

PARENTS’ NIGHT OUT Friday, October 9th at 6:30pm. Please register your child by contacting Stefani Garcia at 281-350-1616, ext. 133, no later than Wed., Oct. 7th.

SENIOR ADULT LUNCH Wednesday, October 21st at 11:00am in the Fellowship Hall. All senior adults (50+) are invited. You may bring your favorite dessert or fruit salad. Invite a guest!

ADULT BIBLE STUDY Not attending an Adult Bible Fellowship? This is a GREAT time to jump in and deepen your walk with God and your relationships with others. CHURCH ORIENTATION CLASS This new class, which is intended for both visitors and members, will start on Sunday, October 11th at 9:00am. It is open to youth, adults, and families and generally lasts from 6 to 8 weeks.

You will learn about the core, characteristic, and charitable doctrines of Founder Baptist Church. This class is now a requirement for membership and can be helpful for visitors who would like to learn more about our church.
