ANNOUNCEMENTS

SPEAKING THE TRUTH IN LOVE CONFERENCE Starts this Friday, January 29th through Sunday, January 31st at Founders Baptist Church and registration is required.

Theme of the conference is “Gender, Marriage, and Sexuality.” This conference is to equip Christians to know how to apply the gospel on issues of biblical sexual ethics and gender, and to explore what the gospel means for the future of marriage, gender, and sexual identity.

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION Still need to sign up? There will be an open registration for Truth in Love this Sunday in the Foyer for anyone who would like to register in person rather than online.

NO WEDNESDAY NIGHT SERVICE There will be no Wednesday evening worship service on January 27th due to the Truth in Love Conference. Please plan to attend the conference, instead.

SENIOR ADULT LUNCH Our next Senior Lunch will be Wednesday, February 17th. No Senior Lunch in January.

NEW ADULT DISCIPLESHIP CLASS Beginning Feb 7th at 9am: "Fundamentals of the Faith" (a discipleship course in Christian faith and practice). Limited to 15 men and 15 women; sign-ups throughout January in the church foyer.

MONDAY NIGHT MEN’S DISCIPLESHIP Claude Lewis is leading a men’s discipleship group on “Biblical Manhood” every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month. The group meets in the Fellowship Hall from 6:30pm-8:00pm for refreshments, fellowship, and study.

We’ll meet on January 25th and all men of Founders are invited to attend and participate!

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY AWANA CLUB Meets today at 4:30pm in the REC. This is “Bring TP Night”. Wrap your leader in toilet paper.

YOUTH MINISTRY THRIVE Thursdays, 7:00pm, at the REC for Bible study.

PARENTS’ NIGHT OUT Friday, February 12th at 6:30pm. Please register your child by calling Stefani Garcia at 281-350-1616, ext. 133, no later that Wed., February 10th.

CHILDREN‘S CAMP 2016 June 13th-June 17th, at Pineywoods Baptist Encampment for grades 3-6 (completed by this summer). Cost: $210.00 if paid by May 22nd. Cost increases to $225.00 after May 22nd. A non-refundable deposit of $50.00 is due by February 28th and is included in the total camp cost.

SAVE THE DATE July 18-21, Adventure Week Arts & Sports Camp. Workers’ Kick-off Meeting will be Sunday, April 3rd at 5:30pm.
