Having been a part of the Farmers Market since 2000, JJ’s Organics- a fresh fruit and vege shop on Riverbend Road, Napier- was around years before organics became trendy. Two very inspiring ladies, Janet and Judy created and began the business with a vision for a fresher future. Janet loved talking to us about how their gardens and crops are being used by locals to create products which they can also sell in their shop.
JJ’s Organics provides a huge selection of fresh fruit and veges, including Bok choy, Beetroot and Spinach Beet! (Don’t worry, they also sell local free-range eggs and heaps of citrus fruits too. ) All the staff and helpers at JJ’s Organics are super friendly. Sitting in the middle of everything, just outside the shop, is a huge tree called the Heart of JJ’s, which towers over everything, call in and check it out !
