Bella Devyatkina, Polygot By Anna G., 7th Grade
Bella Devyatkina is a four year old girl from Moscow, Russia. Moscow is the capital of Russia. This girl is what people call a polyglot. A polyglot is a person who knows many languages fluently. Bella was featured on a show called �Amazing People�. On this show she showed of her amazing talent of knowing 7 languages. When going on the show Bella walked up to 6 people who knew English, Spanish, French, Arabic, Chinese, and Deutsche. They would ask her questions which she would answer and also sang a song at one point. The people would ask her what she was looking for and she would say her present (Her prize for the show).
How does Bella do this? Bella’s mum says that she taught her English then would get her nannies who knew different languages. The nannies would teach Bella the language they knew, along with how to read it. Not only that though, they would teach her songs and about their culture. How did she learn it so easily though? Well studies show that language comes easiest at young ages. I quote www.independent.co.uk when I say this, “Young kids soak up language like a sponge”. As you age the capacity to learn a second language diminishes. It is very critical to learn at a young age if you intend to know a second language.

Human Adaptations By Kaustav S., 7th Grade Human adaptations: pigments, body shape, and eye color. The reason some of us have long slender bodies and some of us have short fatty bodies are simple. You see the warmer the climate the taller and less fat we need. We have to run farther faster for food. Short is for cold temp. You have to conserve heat. The reason we have eye color ties into sunlight. The more sunlight we receive the darker our eyes get less and it becomes blue and green. Skin color comes from the amount of heat and elevation you are at. low elevation and high temp creates black. high elevation with low temp creates white skin..

Destiny 2014 By Isaiah M., 7th Grade Destiny became one of the top games in 2014 at the time and publisher activision spent $500 million on promoting and developing the game. Destiny was released in 2014 september 9 and was a huge success. Destiny is a first-person sci-fi shooter that which lets you play Crucible, Patrol, Strikes, Daily Heroics, Nightfalls, Trials of Osiris, Raids, and missions. Destiny is Bungie’s new game and has been as successful as Halo: Reach which was released in 2010. Destiny has three classes to choose from hunter, titan, and warlock. A Titan’s have Striker, Defender, and Sunbreaker. A Hunter’s have Gunslinger, Bladedancer, and Nightstalker. A Warlock’s have Voidwalker, Sunsinger, and Stormcaller. Those are the subclasses for those characters.

Music is the most interesting method to share your feelings. It doesn’t matter if you’re singing with your voice, an instrument or even both of them, it’s a fact that our souls and bodies are feeling the vibe. Édouard-Léon Scott de Martinville is a french printer and bookseller who also invented phonautograph the earliest known sound recording device. He made the first song called Hurrian Hymn. He also received a lot of attention for his inventions of the phonautograph. They showed sound as wavy lines traced through a coating of soot on glass or paper. The machine created the lines with a vibrating stylus, set in motion by a flexible membrane that responded to sound waves—similar to how an eardrum works.

Drawing is Art By Carrie M., 7th Grade Little Rock, Arkansas- Drawing was formed 32,000 years ago. Caves were full of drawings. The reasons for cave drawing were because some people felt like it, some people had got high on alcohol, and because of Prehistoric encyclopedia. The history of drawing began in the 14th century after the independent artist document began. There are 3 different types of drawing.
The first one is pencil drawing. Pencil drawing is the greatest masters of pencil drawing always kept the elements of a simple linearism or limited shading that were appropriate to pencil drawing. “Pencil drawing was much less commonly produced by artist�.

The next type of drawing is chalk drawing. chalk drawing is a technique of drawing with chalk, a prepared natural stone or earth substance that is usually in black, white, red, or sanguine. The last type of drawing is charcoal drawing. Charcoal drawing is one of the oldest art mediums. Back in the day, charcoal was used in form of burned sticks. These types of drawings are old but the way people use them are incredible.

Allyson Felix is an African American track star that runs for America. She competes in the 100meter, 200 meter race and the 400 meter race. She is a 3 time world champion and a 2 time olympic silver medalist. Allyson Felix attended school at the university of South Carolina. She loves track because she believes that it is a “gift that God blessed her.� To be a good track star, you have to know how to breath correctly or could run out of breath or pass-out. You also have to know how hold in your speed, but still keep close with the people in the front. Now that last thing I told you have to know how to do that all depends on what type of race you are running.

Comedy “The Art Of Making People Laugh Godfrey O., 7th Grade How Did Comedy Start? Y’all probably think that comedy started when people made jokes on the stage or y’ll probably even think that it started in movies. Well not at all, comedy been around so long it didn’t even start in a book. It actually stated as a side joke in plays and operas by people like shakespeare and Elizabethan. There comedy in plays took off in the late 1600’s and 1700’s bring the first proclaimed version of comedy. But way before that during Ancient Greek times comedy was used by poor people to amuse the kings or queens s they could get little change then by the medieval times people called jokers would start doing things similar to the greeks.
Present Day Today comedy is used through another big thing, it is called social media. Since the late 2000’s and early 2010’s people have been using YouTube, Instagram, and Vine as a place to make funny video and bring comedy through almost everywhere. People are now making simple comedy by recording 6 second long videos with captions and becoming famous eah and each day.
