STUDIO LOOKBOOK SPRING/SUMMER 2024
What project are you most proud of and why?
Summer 24 PDP on Model Recognizable — I am proud of this project because I feel like I enjoyed working on each and every image. For me, the more challenging images bring opportunities to sharpen my skills, add to my portfolio, and help the team get exactly what they need to really make this product shine!
Were there any challenges you had to overcome?
There was one image where the Art Directors requested me to change the background to lilac, change the black sweater to dark blue, and extend out the image pretty far to the left. I enjoyed working on this image, and would love to tackle more challenges like this one!
“The challenging images were the most fun to work on!”

Images for the Fossil Tourer launch turned out nicely. Bold, beautiful watches styled well and photographed on a dramatic black background. What’s not to love. Great to see them used in the Fossil Store windows too.
Were there any challenges you had to overcome?
Creating dramatic styling and light that spoke to the auto racing aesthetic.
“Shout out to Emily, who skillfully styled the beautiful stack shot. That’s not easy.”
FOSSIL
“SS24 for Fossil threw out many challenges, and we could not have had a better team in the studio and with DI to tackle them together. Everyone rallied together to produce beautiful work – looking forward to seeing what we can do next!”

What project are you most proud of and why?
I am excited about how the latest watch PDPs have been turning out. Many of the brands have challenged us to elevate the imagery and I love how they look.
Were there any challenges you had to overcome?
The tricky part of the watch PDP shot is to create a dynamic and rich image that showcases the variety of textures and materials while being evenly lit. It also must be done in a way that’s sustainable to reproduce during high output production.

Of the spring images I worked on I ultimately enjoyed working on Zodiac SP24 features. It was just well executed photography. I appreciated what was captured in camera. I was able to just focus on enhancing the image.
Were there any challenges you had to overcome?
No challenges with this job with regard to retouching. Again, the look of these images was mostly captured in camera. I just took it another step or two forward. That isn’t always the case with stylized images like this.

What project are you most proud of and why?
One of my recent Diesel projects was particularly fun and even a bit challenging. I was asked to add some flares to the product in strategic areas. It took some trial and error to get the flares to read as more natural but we were able to pull it off.
Were there any challenges you had to overcome?
My main challenge on these was getting the flares how creative liked them. Initially, they provided about 3 references of flares. After my first attempt looked a little “too fake” they provided one more reference and I was able to finally nail it down. Once we achieved the right look to the flares we played around with placement and intensity.
“It’s always great when we have the opportunity to be creative and add effects post photography!”

What project are you most proud of and why?
SP24 Fossil on model, because it was so much fun and the imagery turned out amazing! + DSL NS24 Core because it was my 1st time working with sand. I was nervous at first but I think they turned out pretty cool!
Were there any challenges you had to overcome? Balancing this watch stack ! Took some strategic wax placing + some luck.
MICHELE
“I’m incredibly proud of this creative team. Their dedication and hard work have exceeded all expectations. Their passion for creativity is truly admirable. The results they’ve achieved are amazing and I can’t wait to see what we accomplish next. The Michele brand looks fantastic - well done to Maria, Shelley, Mel, and Catherine!”

What project are you most proud of and why?
Elevating the womens leathers. It has been fun exploring new styling.
Were there any challenges you had to overcome? We really hit the restart button on styling leathers in an entirely different way. Thank you Melanie for all of your help on this! The new styling really looks elevated.
Are there any shout outs you’d like to give?
I would love to give a shout out to Maria for how great she has been doing on the on model shoots, she has elevated on model photography to an epic level. I would also like to give Harper a shout out on how well he did elevating the Diesel watches.

What project are you most proud of and why?
Assisting on the Summer 24 PDP+ On Figure shoot. I loved getting to experiment on set knowing that these shoots are setting a new tone for the future.
Were there any challenges you had to overcome?
I don’t recall any challenges besides getting so excited about shooting we almost ran out of time! It’s been really nice to get the opportunity to show the in house skills!
“The energy and excitement of working with this talented group of women was incredible.”

What project are you most proud of and why?
I thought this Kate Spade project was a lot of fun & I love the final results. It’s the very essence of Spring/Summer and right on brand, too. Great propping & styling by MacKenzie. I always love the end results when Cesar art directs. And, of course, Cat magic gave everything that final sparkle & perfection. Prove me wrong!
Were there any challenges you had to overcome?
Plants & flowers are always a challenge to work with. Flowers start dying the moment they’re cut & they wilt fairly quickly under the lights and they move. Which is a challenge when shooting focus stacks. MacKenzie had to substitute mondo grass for turf grass because of the season. It’s not necessarily easy to create a realistic sunny outdoors look on a studio set but I think I did a decent job of it.

What project are you most proud of and why?
I have loved watching everyone absolutely bring it creatively. It’s so fun to champion everyone behind the scenes, and also encourage them to keep going. Occassionally, I also get to contribute ;) and doing so for Fossil social has been a highlight for me.
Were there any challenges you had to overcome?
Catching my breathe with this new to me larger team. Having such a strong team in place, where everyone is on top of their responsibilities, has made stepping into my new role that much easier. Oh and scheduling! We have the talent, we have the beautiful product, we just sometimes need a little more wiggle room. ;)
Are there any shout outs you’d like to give?
Everyone makes this giant wheel turn — Patty, Flo, Cynthia, Melissa, Nicole, D’Marcus, Marissa, Pam, Veronika. We could not do it without them!
SKAGEN
“Working with Hanna on Skagen over the past couple of years has been a dream. Her attention to detail and relentless need for the images to be the absolute best they can be is unmatched. She has been a great addition to the on model shoots offering insights and solutions in the moment while we are on set. I look forward to working on future projects with her.”

What project are you most proud of and why?
Spring 2024 on-figure Tourer - The images killed and I loved that we were able to push unisex styling with this one. Seeing the images in the store was icing on the cake!
Were there any challenges you had to overcome?
Getting the approval and go-ahead to use internal styling for on-figure shoots was a heavy lift, and I’m proud of our team for delivering.
Are there any shout outs you’d like to give?
My team is amazing and Spring 24 has truly been a team effort - I have to especially call out Emily’s EPIC 5 watch Tourer stack! Styling wizardry!

What project are you most proud of and why?
Skagen MultiPDP on model Spring and Summer. I’m really proud of these images because they aren’t the typical standard white background ecomm images. It’s so much fun working with Casey and Holly to see what we can come up with.
Were there any challenges you had to overcome?
For Spring 24 I had to quickly change the lighting setup the morning of from what we had tested with before and try to match from campaign. It can be challenging to make things happen on the spot, but we have a great team and made it happen. For the Summer 24 we had to jump through some hoops to shoot on the 4th floor.
“It was nice having the time to test beforehand to help prep for these type of shoots.”

I’m proud of what a gift everyone on this team is. Relentlessly sharing your creative souls - even when the work can sometimes be soul-sucking. The last 12 months has been some of the hardest in a long time but with that comes opportunities and resourcefulness. This team brings so much of that from all over the globe and I’m grateful.
Were there any challenges you had to overcome? So many but we did it together.
