I have tried quite a few and have finally found a very good one, it is made by a company called RØDE, the RØDE MT mini. An advantage is that the headphone output on the back of the microphone. This means you can clearly hear your own voice as well as that of the caller. The quality is quite exceptional and is available from Amazon for £72.25. This version sits on your desk, you can buy a “mic arm”, avoid the cheap ones and try instead the Elgato Wave Mic Arm LP, low profile swivel boom with hidden cable channels. Looking back, do you remember what you received for Christmas when you were 6 years old? When you were 10? Even from 5 years ago? However, do you remember that smell of dinner coming from mum’s kitchen or seeing your families faces Christmas morning, watching your favourite movies? Playing games? These are the true gifts of Christmas the memories we create together. Seems almost out of nowhere and suddenly the festive season is upon us. With talks of Covid, Brexit and even Turkey shortages in the air this year has yet again left us with uncertainty.
