Sealed bids for the construction of airport improvements at Arlington Municipal Airport need to be addressed and delivered to Karen Vanwinkle, Arlington Municipal Airport Manager, City of Arlington, Texas, 5000 South Collins Street, Suite 100, Arlington, Texas 76018. Proposals will be received until 2:00 pm, August 29, 2019, then publicly opened and read. Any bid received after closing time will be returned unopened.

In general, the Aviation Construction work consists of the removal and replacement of the Airport’s perimeter fence, including: · Base Bid – Removal of existing fence on north, east, and south sides and northwest corner of airport (approx. 12,700 LF); installation of security fence on east and south sides and northwest corner of airport (approx. 10,980 LF); installation of wildlife exclusion fence on west and north sides of airport (approx. 7,450 LF); installation of one (1) automatic sliding security gate; installation of eight manual access vehicle swing gates and 9 pedestrian swing gates; except for the southwest portion of fence line, the proposed fence line will generally follow the same alignment as the existing fence line, meaning the existing fence will need to be removed prior to the installation of the proposed fence; associated and complimentary work
