Fort Atkinson Parks

Hello!

First off, I am honored to take on the position of Parks and Recreation Director here in Fort Atkinson! I’d like to take a moment to introduce myself.

I grew up in Cambridge, WI. After high school, I attended University of Whitewater earning a Degree in Health Human Performance and Recreation (Go Warhawks!). My professional career started in my hometown of Cambridge, working for the Cambridge Community Activities Program (CAP). After my time at CAP I took on the role of Director of Recreation, Lake Mills, where I worked for over 10 years.

I have lived in the City of Fort Atkinson since 2016 along with my amazing wife and 3 active daughters. We absolutely love the community and what it has to offer Many of our summers are spent exploring the parks, taking family bike rides and enjoying the Fort Atkinson Family Aquatic Center. The BIG water slide is a family favorite!

I look forward to serving you!

Sincerely,

Ben Dayton Parks and Recreation Director
