coco curran

As a four year member of our Varsity squad, Coco is all about speed, grit and determination, and she brings value to our team on both sides of the ball. Nothing keeps her down, and when things get tough, Coco gets tougher. She uses her speed to win key ground ball battles, and she remains strong under pressure. She works hard to get open to support her teammates in our transition and aptly helps move the ball out of danger with smart passing and good communication. She rides hard and is a key contributor in our team’s ability to regain possession and stop our opponent’s transition and fast breaks. And on attack, Coco is deadly in the 8M with her sneaky cuts and disarming footwork. In game after game after game, we ask Coco to take on the toughest jobs, like face guarding our opponent’s strongest player or serving as freight train right off the draw, and she never backs down from these challenges. She left one game with fewer teeth than she started, but this did not slow her down or stop her from scoring the winning goal. Coco is fun to watch, a joy to coach and easy to root for. We are going to miss her can-do attitude and strong work ethic, and we wish her the best of luck at Boston University!

Annie is a strong and vocal leader and a shut down defender on our Varsity team. Last season, she was recognized as a DCL All Star. Annie uses her athleticism and mental tenacity to stifle our opponent’s offensive efforts and protect our crease, and she is critical in our team’s transitional play. She approaches the game with logic and intelligence, and she is the defender who we rely on to quarterback our sliding patterns and keep our defensive unit in control and in sync. She is a world class communicator and shows great composure in high pressure situations. She uses her strong leadership skills to bring players together to amplify our defensive strategy and is the lynchpin in our “help defense”. Annie always has something entertaining, witty and smart to add to every conversation. We will miss her pragmatism, dedication, speed, and positive leadership next year when she heads to Babson to study Entrepreneurship and Marketing.

Siena Ferrucci

Senior Captain and a starter for multiple seasons, Siena’s contributions to our team cannot be underestimated. Through her quiet but fierce leadership and unwavering dedication to our team, Siena is a force on the field. Her meticulous approach to defense and ability to take charge in the 8M, helped her secure a DCL All Star Honorable Mention recognition in the 2023 season. As a teammate, she inspires others with her own strong work ethic and great communication skills. Siena is a dedicated athlete and an intelligent player, but more importantly, she is kind and supportive and always knows what to say when times get tough. It is hard to imagine our Wildcat team without her tactical and resilient approach to defense. We are going to miss Siena’s calm leadership, her resilience, her logical style of play and her great sense of humor next season, and we wish her the best of luck at Smith College where she will study neuroscience and will continue to play lacrosse for the Pioneers!

With her gritty, take no prisoners style of play, Lily has led our team as a midfielder for four seasons. Following her junior season, Lily was voted as one of the top ten players in the DCL, named as a DCL First Team All League player and recognized as both an EMGLCA All Star and US Lacrosse Academic All American. Now as one of our Captains, Lily uses her speed, her athleticism and her power to dominate all over the field. She is one of our draw specialists and works hard to direct the ball to her teammates on the circle. Her unwavering competitive spirit inspires her teammates to stay strong and keep going no matter the obstacle. She is a fiery competitor and a vocal leader who never stops fighting for her team. She is electric in our attacking 8M and is a shut down defender near our crease. We will miss Lily’s steady leadership, strong example of resilience and competitive spirit next year, and we wish her the very best of luck at Harvard where she will study Economics and battle for the Crimson’s lacrosse team.

neta leScHly

Neta has been a vital member of our Varsity team for four years. She is known across the DCL as a tenacious, smart and deadly midfielder who never stops working. Last season, Neta was voted as one of the top ten players in the DCL, named as a DCL First Team All League player and recognized as both an EMGLCA All Star and US Lacrosse Academic All American. She is extremely athletic and knows how to dig down deep and find that higher level of play when we need it. When all seems lost, Neta keeps working to regain possession and generate scoring opportunities. Who will ever forget our game versus a tough Pentucket team in the 2022 State Tournament’s Elite 8 round, when Neta - just back from an almost season long injury - scored off a free position shot from the left hash with 1 second on the scoreboard? Our team relies on her for her intense leadership, her competitive spirit and her enduring will to win. We will miss her strong work ethic and the endless love she shows for this game, and we wish her the best of luck at Tufts where she plans to be pre-med and pursue a degree in Community Health while also playing lacrosse for the Jumbos.

Molly roSS

Molly has been contributing to our team on attack for 4 years. She is fierce by the low crease and is a strong and selfless cutter, constantly opening up driving lanes for her teammates. She is strong on ground balls and helps our team regain possession in critical points throughout the game. She loves to drive to the goal and is strong on free position shooting. One season she held the record of 100% shot conversions from free positions for a consistent period of time. In addition to having a nose for the goal, Molly understands the importance of playing both sides of the ball and always re-defends to the best of her ability. Molly is a lively and compassionate leader and cares a great deal about her teammates. She is a player you can never count out because she never gives up. We are going to miss her spirit and her humor next year, and we wish her good luck at the University of Michigan where she plans to pursue organizational studies in Literature Sciences and Arts.
