Flemish Competition: Fiction Vlaamse Competitie: Fictie If you want to know which Flemish directors will run the show in Belgian cinemas and at film festivals all over the world in the coming years, you should definitely take a look at the Flemish competition. Newly graduated film students, VAF Wildcard winners and other familiar festival faces compete for that coveted ticket for the Oscar longlist (Jury Prize) or the hearts of the public (Audience Award). Film students also have a chance to win the Debut Prize.
