When to Register

Pre-registration is a necessity! Due to limited space in some classes, advanced registration is required for all courses with the exception of Basic Skills. All classes/instructors provided are subject to change due to specific circumstances and low enrollment may result in class cancellation. All pre-registered students will be notified in advance of any changes to classes. If you are not pre-registered, you may not receive notice of changes. Students must register at least FIVE CALENDAR DAYS prior to the class start date.

After you Register

Plan to attend the classes for which you registered as scheduled. You will not be contacted unless there is a change in the class; for example, if the class is postponed, full or canceled.

Fees/Books/Supplies

Registration fees, which are listed with each class description, do not include the cost of textbooks or supplies. Fees are set by the NC General Assembly and are based on the number of contact hours for each course. Some of the courses listed in this schedule require textbooks that may be purchased at the JCC Bookstore. Please contact the Bookstore for operating times or check our website. Any textbooks and/or course materials may be purchased during these times. The College Bookstore can be contacted by dialing (919) 209-2104.
