Meet FOLMB
Friends of Mission Bend Branch Library (FOLMB) was founded by a group of dedicated patrons. It was incorporated and received its 501(c)(3) status in September of 2024.
The Library is more than just books. It is the ”4th Place,” a gathering place where patrons from various backgrounds come together to work, play, and learn. FOLMB exists to bring together the community in private, public, and philanthropic partnerships to build a more dynamic library system that answers the needs of a technologically driven population.

Our vision is to support the Fort Bend County Library (FBCL) system in its efforts to provide facilities and programs that help patrons achieve and exceed their vocational and career goals, discover their purpose in life, navigate life's challenges, and make a positive impact on the world.
Our mission is to empower literacy and community through support of the Mission Bend Branch Library, Fort Bend County Libraries.
• Offer community events that build the social and professional connections of our patrons
• Provide new, previously owned, and out-of-circulation books to our patrons at a low cost
• Raise awareness of the programs provided by the library
• Increase Friends membership and a patron donor mentality
