option for people needing support and advice with their health needs? Our practice meets the medical standards for safe and quality care set by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. We also pride ourselves on delivering optimum health care for our patients. Our professional team provides additional health related services when treating a health condition and aims to promote overall wellness in our area. We provide general family medical care for all ranges of age groups, from children and young families to seniors. As a practicing GP for a number of years, what are your key areas of interest within the field? As I have been in General Practice for many years, my special interests include aged care and seniors' health, men's health and skin cancer management. I am also an accredited GP trainer and actively engaged in teaching of GP trainees and medical students locally. I
am passionate about assisting doctors of the future and their training needs. As we move into the spring season, what measures can we take to keep well? I cannot recommend highly enough for all of our patients to have their flu shot. Secondly, as we enjoy the great Australian lifestyle, largely living and working outdoors on the Mid North Coast, always protect your skin from the sun with a high-grade sunscreen applied liberally. Other general health measures that will go a long way in a person’s health as they age
is to maintain a healthy weight and exercise regularly. Keeping active is one of the best ways to protect both your physical and mental health. For people wanting to book their next appointment, either as a new or existing patient, how can they best get in touch? We look forward to welcoming all new patients. You can call our friendly staff on (02) 6555 5464 for an appointment. All our existing patients can also book online via our website. Thanks Dr Rahmati.
