WELCOME TO PINNACLES OF LORNE ... An enviable property with an elevated position offering breathtaking panoramic views over the Lorne Valley, mountain ranges and Comboyne Mountain. As you drive through the classic timber gates you will discover a beautiful lifestyle property that will, quite simply, make you exhale, breathe deep and smile—you won’t be able to help yourself! Pinnacles has only had 3 owners in its 80 year history and the property comprises 110 acres (44.5 hectares) with approximately 50% cleared and pastured and the balance being temperate forest with pockets of subtropical rainforest. Located half way between the regional townships of Taree (40 minutes drive south) and Port Macquarie (40 minutes drive north), and an easy 4 hours drive south to Sydney, Pinnacles is ideally suited for a tree-change lifestyle. However, within 30 minutes drive you can be swimming at some of the best beaches on the Mid North Coast.

THE HOMESTEAD ... The current owners have lovingly continued updating and renovating the 4 bedroom federation style homestead whilst being sensitive to maintain its rustic charm of yesteryear. The main house gardens were originally planted by the first owner back in the early fifties, whose love of camellias, azaleas and fruit trees adorn the house grounds which have been opened to various local garden clubs over the years. In fact, the original owner catalogued many of his plantings which he gave to the current owners on one of his many visits to view his beloved camellias prior to his passing at age 100 just a few months’ ago. The current owners have added pathways connecting these garden rooms to bring energy back into the garden whilst adding places to sit so as to enjoy a tranquil meditation with nature. The 5 bay Colorbond shed is big enough to house all the toys and consists of 2 lockable closed bays, 2 open bays and a studio that could potentially be a self-contained granny flat with room for a bathroom at the rear. There are 6 paddocks dispersed between bushland and temperate rainforests with 5 dams in total—perfect for grazing a few head of cattle.

THE OWNER’S REFLECT … The spectacular views are why we named the property “Pinnacles”. The north westerly views are breathtaking from many vantage points along the length of the property and perfect to sit and enjoy a picnic or bottle of wine. We regularly pinch ourselves at how lucky we are to be caretakers of this piece of paradise. The morning mist rising up from the valley, the 180 degree sunset vistas, the butcher birds singing, kookaburras laughing and the wallabies grazing—it all encapsulates peace and tranquillity. Entertaining is frequent with a great chef’s kitchen, fresh eggs from the chooks and organic fruit and veggies from the garden, and a variety of entertaining zones to relax and enjoy with family and friends. Pinnacles has truly been an absolute pleasure to have called our home and we know that the new owners will love it as much as us.
