OUR MISSION

To worship God, love each other, serve the needs of our communities and spread the good news of Christ.

OUR VISION

God has called us to serve and empower individuals through authentic worship, comprehensive education, and transformative outreach.

Dear Friends and Members of The Ship,

MESSAGE FROM OURPastor

As we gather to celebrate the 121st anniversary of our cherished Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, I am filled with gratitude and humility for all that we have achieved together in the past year. Our theme for this special occasion is "Exceeded Expectations," a fitting tribute to the immense progress and impact we have made on our congregation and community.

Reflecting on the past year, we have truly exceeded all expectations with the establishment of our Health Clinic, a vital resource that provides essential care to those in need. Our thriving youth ministry continues to inspire and nurture the next generation of leaders, while our monthly community outreach efforts have touched the lives of countless individuals facing hardship.

It is through your unwavering faith, dedication, and generosity that we have been able to accomplish so much in such a short time. Together, we have forged a family within our congregation, united in our mission to spread God's love and compassion to all who cross our path.

As we look to the future, let us remain steadfast in our commitment to building and growing our church community. Let us continue to seek innovative ways to serve our neighbors and extend a helping hand to those in need. Let us strive to be beacons of light, shining the transformative power of God's love into every corner of our community.

I am humbled and honored to serve as your Senior Pastor, and I am inspired by the dedication and passion that each and every one of you brings to our church family. Together, with God's guidance and grace, there is no limit to what we can accomplish in the years to come.

On this momentous occasion, let us rejoice in the progress we have made, but also look forward with hope and anticipation to the journey ahead. May we continue to exceed expectations, spreading the message of God's love and grace to all who need it.

Yours in Christ,

Pastor Dr. Jamian Lovett
