Syntetic Culture Medium for Bacterial Growth ®
Bionova Culture Mediums were developed for the germination and growth of bacterial spores of Geobacillus stearothermophilus, Bacillus atrophaeus, Bacillus pumilus and Bacillus subtilis. ® Bionova Culture Medium can be used to test the viability of spores placed in carriers of biological indicators for sterilization, as spore ® strips, mini spore strips, spore discs or other Bionova spore carrier. Culture Mediums are specially made to provide an easy visual ® confirmation of bacterial growth within 24 or 48 hours. Bionova culture medium changes dramatically from purple, red or blue to yellow when spores grow. Shelf Life: 24 months

Spore Suspensions ®
Bionova Spore Suspensions are calibrated suspensions of bacterial spores appropriate for direct inoculation of products or preparing custom Biological Indicators for monitoring Steam, Ethylene Oxide, Dry Heat, Hydrogen Peroxide, Formaldehyde and other industrial sterilization processes. After a sterilization cycle is complete, the inoculated product should be ® tested using the aproppiate Bionova Culture Medium. ® Bionova Spore Suspensions are standardized on the basis of number spores per 0.1 ml suspension.

Stainless Steel Coupons ®
The Bionova Spore Coupons were developed to control Peroxide Hydrogen (VH2O2) sterilization processes. Bionova ® Spore Coupons are stainless steel coupons that contained Geobacillus stearothermophilus ATCC 7953. Upon removal from the sterilizer, the coupon must be aseptically cultured in ® Bionova MC20 or MC1020 growth medium tube, or to any other appropriate growth medium. ® Bionova Coupons are available packaged in bulks.
