Mysterious Ancient Indein and Hidden Part of the Lake Price Inclusive

We will start the sightseeing with Indein – a tiny village located on the western bank of the lake. You will also be able to observe the leg‐rowing fishermen who navigate their boats with unbelievable balance.

There is a Buddha image at the summit of a hill, surrounded with hundreds of ancient Stupas. Most stupas are covered with sprawling vegetation and bushes. This mysterious place is at the end of Indein creek where the creek is narrow with twists and both sides are lined with paddy fields where you can see the farmers ploughing and harrowing by water buffaloes.

The ruins of Indein are certainly worth a visit. Spend the night under the starry skies, by the beautiful Inle Lake.
