Clinical Information
The residential treatment program at Flyland Recovery Network is committed to helping individuals and their families achieve lasting sobriety. We understand that recovery is a process, and our residential addiction treatment program is designed to provide comprehensive, evidencebased care tailored to the individual’s needs.
The first step in our residential substance abuse treatment program is an initial assessment to determine the individual’s needs. During this assessment, our team of experienced professionals will evaluate the patient’s physical and mental health, and develop a treatment plan that is tailored to their needs.
Once the treatment plan is in place, our team of clinicians will work with the patient to develop an individualized treatment program. This treatment program, curated from the living in balance curriculum, will include individual and group
counseling with evidence-based therapies such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), life skills, process group, relapse prevention, anger management, and more. Patients will also meet with a case manager within 24 hours of admission to complete a needs assessment which determines FMLA, short-term disability, legal, financial, and other employment needs. Case managers meet with patients once a week to ensure all basis of their case management needs are being addressed. Case managers work alongside the treatment team to develop and finalize continuing care plans as well.
Additionally, our residential drug rehab program offers a variety of recreational and holistic therapies to help individuals reconnect with themselves and their peers. These therapies include yoga, reiki, meditation, art therapy, sound healing, and outdoor activities.

At Flyland Recovery Network we believe in the preservation of human life In an effort to keep patients safe while in our care, we implemented this safeguard technology.
Flyland Recovery Network continuously strives to uphold and enhance its exceptional standards. We recognize the significance of patient safety and are dedicated to delivering superior care. Our safety rounding system allows us to leverage their cutting-edge technology by thoroughly documenting and validating required patient observations. The Flyland team receives real-time reminders for patient checks through the technology app, and in the event of a missed observation or any other safety concern, supervisory alerts are issued. This immediate intervention and proactive risk
mitigation allow us to further provide the highest standard of care, specifically to those patients with higher acuity. The utilization of this technology brings a new level of precision and insight to the Flyland Recovery Network’s quality improvement initiatives currently in place.
In addition, the system provides weekly reports for compliance and auditing. Further, this system satisfies the requirements set forth by the governing agencies such as- DCF, Joint Commission, AHCA and DHSC.
The Technology
Flyland Recovery Network utilizes a safetysolution system that uses Bluetooth technology to validate required patient observations through patented, tamperresistant beacons that are worn by patients and monitored by staff. This healthcare technology allows for timely and accurate checks on patients, ensuring a higher level of monitoring. Due to the proximity needed to successfully complete observations on patients, life-saving interventions can take place, resulting in the preservation of life. We strive to utilize innovations through our facilities to ensure positive outcomes.

The Flyland Experience
BEDROOMS
Top to bottom, we personally and strategically constructed the feel of every room at Flyland Recovery Network. Our bedrooms create a comforting space for patients to decompress, featuring calming neutrals and quality amenities, creating a minimalistic oasis for relaxation, reflection, and rest.
In each bedroom, you will find a one-of-a-kind and expertly handcrafted wooden bedframe made by master artisans using 100% solid wood. The beds support the craft of woodworking, and the wood is sustainably sourced from FSC and PEFC forests. The beds come directly from London, England, to serve as the foundation of the rooms’ minimalistic designs.
Giving back is an essential part of a healing journey, and any scraps from the production of the beds are turned into briquettes and donated to the communities where the trees are sourced to help reduce their heating costs.
In line with the minimalistic bedroom design to promote restoration, we have incorporated cooling memory foam mattresses that contain antioxidantrich green tea. Green tea has been shown to have many health benefits — helps improve relaxation and sleep, and provides a solid foundation for rest.
Quality sleep is an important factor in lifelong health and an essential element for healing.
Every aspect of the simply designed bedrooms has been selected with comfort, wellbeing, and healing in mind. Our white hotel-grade linens feature a soft, smooth weave to promote the best foundation for quality rest.
Research from the Berlin Institute of Health suggests that bad sleep quality may serve as a predictor for relapse and subsequent unplanned treatment drop-out. We believe the prevalence of bad sleep amongst those coming into treatment can be combated by improvements made to their surrounding environment.
GROUP ROOMS
GROUP ROOMS
Each room is thoughtfully designed to foster a healing and nurturing environment, promoting overall wellbeing. The vibrant and cheerful colors in our group rooms are carefully chosen to leave patients feeling refreshed and revitalized. Our use of rice paper shades allows natural light to flood the space, creating a sense of openness and security.
One of the most impactful aspects of our program is group therapy, where individuals can connect with others who share similar experiences. Through the power of group therapy, we are able to cultivate a supportive community that extends far beyond the duration of treatment. Learning to foster and develop healthy relationships through group therapy is a fundamental and invaluable skill.
At Flyland, we not only understand the importance of a balanced diet, we take it a step further. Across cultures and religions, the value of sharing a meal has remained constant throughout history. We’ve created a dining experience that prioritizes community, sharing stories, and getting to know each other. Our patients can do this while enjoying healthy meals prepared from scratch by our dedicated in-house Chef.
We recognize that nutrition plays a crucial role in the healing process. That’s why licensed dietitians and nutritionists expertly design our menus. We make every effort to provide our patients with a diverse and delicious selection of meals. Patients also have unlimited access to our juice fountain, fresh fruit, and snacks throughout the day — nobody goes hungry.
