Introduction
• Flexible Rubber Pipe is designed to absorb noise and vibration
• Reinforcement includes fabric layers and steel wire for high pressures and vacuum
• Compatible with all expansion joint accessories (control units, flow liners, etc.)

Types of Flexible Rubber Pipe Connectors
Flanged Type
• Seal created from a full faced rubber flange that is integral to the body of the pipe connector
• Supplied with retaining ring to distribute the bolt load around the rubber flanges
• Most commonly used across all industries

Types of Flexible Rubber Pipe Connectors
Floating Flange Type
• Seal is created from rubber bead interlocked with the metallic flange
• Flange capable of rotating to desired fit
• Idea for torsional offset

Application Benefits
• Rubber construction is ideal for noise reduction in metallic pipe lines
• Longer standard lengths allow for more effective dissipation of vibration
• Reduces stress cracking from substantial vibration
• Commonly used in pipe sections with heavy water hammer
• Rubber connection eliminates electrolytic action between dissimilar metal pipe sections
