Frequently Asked Questions: Q: Do you expect home values to drop in 2022 and 2023? A: Home values are driven by supply and demand. The demand has slowed due to rising mortgage rates and concerns over the economy and the stock market. There are still active Buyers – just not as many as we saw in the peak months. The inventory remains extremely low and is helping keep values higher. Therefore, we expect some pressure on pricing but as long as the inventory remains very low, there will not be a major drop in Sugarloaf home values.
