CHAMPIONSHIP DESCRIPTIONS
Women’s Amateur Stroke Play Championship Sara Bay Country Club – Sarasota, FL Friday, July 7 - Sunday, July 9, 2017 Entries close Wednesday, June 21, 2017 Eligibility Must be (1) a resident of Florida (reside in Florida at least 4 months per year, have otherwise established legal residency or graduated from a Florida high school and presently attending an out-of-state college); or (2) a military personnel or a dependent of a military personnel based in Florida on active duty. Entry Fee $160 ($170 Non-GHIN) *Entry fee includes competitive rounds and cart fees, awards luncheon immediately following play on Sunday, tee gift, and gift certificate prizes. Handicap Limit Must have a Florida USGA GHIN Handicap Index of no higher than 18.4 as of the July 1, 2017 revision. Championship Format 54 Holes of individual Stroke Play. Championship Division There will be only one Championship Division, competing for gross prizes only. The overall 2017 Champion will be the individual with the lowest 54 hole total score. In the event of a tie for first place, there will be a hole-by-hole sudden death playoff on a hole designated by the Committee to determine the Champion. Course Set-up 6,000 yards (Approx.)
