This thesis study was done in respond to the recent global pandemic that has underscored the critical importance of thorough preparedness and response strategies for unforeseen crises. In 2022, the Philippines ranked first in the World Risk Index, highlighting the nation’s vulnerability to various hazards. The idea is to integrate evacuation center, training facilities, and emergency operations center in one functioning structure. This is to emphasize the importance of the continuity process of risk management.

The residential building is designed to have a featuring five bedrooms, spread across two storeys, with the capacity to comfortably house 5 to 6 individuals. Its emphasis on natural ventilation ensures a refreshing and health-conscious living environment. Planned with a commitment to sustainability, the structure showcases the use of locally sourced natural materials, harmonizing modern living with the environment. Moreover, a spacious balcony not only offers a panoramic view but also provides an inviting open space for residents to unwind, connect with nature, and relish the beauty of their surroundings.

The low-cost housing architectural project redefines affordable living with its innovative design spanning five storeys.
At the core of its design philosophy is a dedication to promoting natural ventilation and lighting, creating a healthier and more energy-efficient living environment. This commitment extends to heat insulation through the incorporation of louvers and vertical gardening, enhancing thermal comfort while embracing sustainable landscaping practices.
Championing sustainability, the project integrates solar panels and rainwater collectors, harnessing renewable energy and reducing the strain on local resources. This forward-thinking approach not only benefits the environment but also lowers utility costs for residents.
