Style is hard to come by and even harder to capture with a lens. This rider, a regular at Revolution Cable Park, has taken a simple trick, a frontside 540, and added his own flair by grabbing after the first 360. He successfully turned a trick that many can do into something that is solely his.

Everything about this trick is distinct to this rider from the grab tweak, to his timing, and to his approach. Style is what sets riders apart and this rider has formed one of his own.

Living the Dream Over the years I have realized that wakeboarding at a cable park is not just about riding, but about having fun and meeting new people too.

These people share similar intrests with you, and become great friends.

You progress with them, you help eachother with new tricks, and you have a good time with them. From the constant thrill of seeing someone land a new trick to the just the atmosphere surrounding the park. There is never a dull moment out on the water, especially when surrounded by good friends and great times.

The Method

This sequence is of George Petrillo, a regular rider at Revolution cable park, throwing a method grab. He is able to execute this relatively difficult trick with ease and make it look stylish. A lot of time goes into the method, from learning the grab, to getting the perfect tweak on it, and to adding your own personal flair, but the time spent is worth it. The result is nothing short of breathtaking. Many say a picture is worth a thousand words, I believe the method is worth a thousand more. It is a trick that emulates the rider and their style perfectly.

About the Photo:

One of my favorites, this picture was taken during the Liquid Force Free For All event at Revoluton Cable Park. The two people in the shot are pro-wakeboarders Felix Georgii and Nico Von Lerchenfeld, two great riders. The event was a great experience, from hanging out with the pros and watching them ride, to all the free gear.
