ood afternoon and welcome to Highbury for today’s Sky Bet League One match with Shrewsbury Town. I’d like to extend that welcome to Sam Ricketts, his staff and players, as well as the directors and supporters who have made the trip from Shropshire to Highbury for today’s game. Since my last programme notes, we have seen a couple of additions to the squad. Most recently we have added Callum Connolly to the group, joining on loan from Everton until the end of the season. I’m sure you’ll give him a warm Highbury welcome today. We have also secured the permanent signing of Lewie Coyle, on a long-term contract from Leeds United. This is a big statement from the club to

secure such a promising player over the next few years, after the impact that we’ve seen him have on our team over the last three years. I’m sure that you share my delight that Lewie has decided that the best place for his football is with us at Fleetwood Town, and it goes without saying that we’re really pleased to have him with us. We are now in a really exciting time of the season for the team, with games coming thick and fast. The competition within League One is high, with the difference between the top of the league and mid-table only a couple of wins, and we’re happy to be in the mix at this stage of the season. Every game is a big one for us, starting today against a tough opponent in Shrewsbury. We need you

the supporters to continue being with us on our journey and help the team to achieve their goals this season. Our record at Highbury over the last 12 months has been superb, so the challenge is to continue that into 2020. Enjoy the game,
