Introduction
Fleet Feet is rooted in the belief that running is for everyone and has the power to affect positive, lasting change.
Our insight into the running retail landscape is truly unique. We opened our doors in 1976, and today, have more than 270 locally owned and operated run specialty stores across the country.
From the customer searching for solutions for their aching feet to the customer ready to run a mile without stopping for the first time to the customer running their 10th marathon – our owners, operators and staff serve more runners and walkers than any other run specialty retailer.
Retail has never changed this fast before, and will never change this slowly again. In a constantly evolving industry and world, we must keep our finger on the pulse to understand who’s running, why, how often, and how we can serve them best.
The Fleet Feet Running Report provides big picture insights about the running population, the brands our customers love most, and where the industry is headed based on a survey we commissioned through YouGov. Additionally, we include data from our 3D fit id® foot scanning technology powered by Volumental.
We hope these insights are helpful as you think about your own markets and customers, and strive to provide them with the best products and services they need to keep moving.
