They can be emailed to snowbirds if you let me know when you leave and when you are to return. FROM THE PRESIDENT I hope everyone had an enjoyable summer. It’s the time of year where we begin welcoming back our Grand Valley friends, family and neighbors who left for the summer months or for extended vacations. We have several guest speakers booked for the remainder of the year. Information and dates are posted later in this issue of the Grapevine. You do not need to be an HOA member to attend. All residents are welcome, even if the speaker is at a General Meeting. Our next “Meet N’ Greet” will be September 8th at 9:30 am in the clubhouse. I encourage all residents to attend and welcome our newest neighbors to Grand Valley. Coffee/ tea and donuts will be provided. The next HOA General Meeting will be September 10th due to the Labor Day holiday. The Board Meeting will be September 17th. FROM MANAGEMENT Please obey our 15 mph speed limit. As you all know, we have “No Soliciting” signs at our entries. If someone comes to your door, and you didn't call them, please remind them that this is private property and ask them to leave. Do not call the office. FROM THE PRESIDENT (CONT’) good standing no less than 10 days prior to the election. According to our Bylaws, this is the deadline for the Treasurer to provide an updated list of members in good standing to the Election committee for review. We have 4 Board positions up for election. Please consider to volunteer to serve. These are two year terms. To run, contact one of the members of the Nominating Committee or you can nominate a resident in good standing or yourself from the floor at the October 1st meeting. We still need a few volunteers for the Nominating Committee. Contact a Board member if interested. Positions for the the Election Committee have been appointed and accepted. PLEASE NOTE: Grand Valley Rules & Regulations XXVIII. “All complaints concerning the park or the conduct of residents must be made in writing to the Park Manager at the park office and must be signed by the resident making the complaint.
