Voting on Bylaw Changes Notification of Proposed Bylaws Changes. In accordance with Article XIII Amendment of Bylaws, this serves as notification of proposed changes to be voted upon on 7 December 2015, at the regular scheduled membership meeting. A Quorum is required, Limited Proxies may be used. Thank You, Eric Parker, GVHA President Proposed Change #1 Article I Section 1B Address states: The address of the GVHA shall be Post Office Box 550, New Port Richey, Florida, 34656. Proposed Change: The address of the GVHA shall be that of the Treasurer or Secretary unless otherwise changed by the Board of Directors. Proposed Change #2 Article V Section 6 Affirmation Notice states: An officer of the Association shall provide an affidavit affirming that the notices were mailed or hand delivered and posted in a conspicuous place on the park property, in accordance with Section 5 hereof, and said statement shall be filed in this Association records.

Article V Section 8 Quorum; voting requirements; proxies.-States: The presence in person or by proxy of a majority (50% + 1) of the membership entitled to vote shall constitute a quorum at member meetings requiring a vote on any business of the corporation. Florida Statute Change: Unless otherwise provided in the bylaws, 30 percent of the total membership is required to constitute a quorum. Proposed Change #4 Added Article XVIII Severability The invalidation of any one or more of these Bylaws or any part thereof, by statute, judgment, court order or administrative decree, shall in no way affect any of the other provisions of these Bylaws, which shall remain in full force and effect without the invalid provision. Purpose: In law, severability refers to a provision in a contract which states that if parts of the contract are held to be illegal or otherwise unenforceable, the remainder of the contract should still apply.
