MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT The HOA Board is on hiatus until September. The next General Meeting will be September 10th due to Labor Day holiday falling on the first Monday. Activities and communities will continue through the summer. Watch the calendar for events in the Grapevine and the bulletin boards in the clubhouse and at the pool. We are still looking for volunteers to spearhead the Social Committee. The Nadeaus have been very gracious and lined up entertainment through the beginning of 2019. Hand and Foot, card game, has been added on Monday s at 2pm. Thank you Angelo and Ann Petrone for putting this together. They will be happy to teach you if you have never played. On June 2nd we will have a guest speaker coming to inform us about prescription management at 10AM. Donuts and Coffee will be provided. Please plan on attending this informational one hour session. In addition, we have lined up an excellent list of guest speakers for the remainder of the year. See the list in this issue of the Grapevine. Be sure you have plenty of

DECLARATION OF DOMICILE At the May General Meeting, Randy Holeyfield, from the FMO spoke to our residents on several subjects. One item he touched on was the Declaration of Domicile, now called Declaration of Homestead Manufactured Home. Filing this form protects you from loosing your home in the event someone sues you. The fee is $30 for a double wide. If you own a double wide home you will need two forms (or three for a triplewide $45) completed, one form for each side. The forms and fees need to be filed with the Clerks Office in the Government Building, with a copy of your titles. The Clerks Office must see original titles, not sure what is needed if you have a lien holder. Please see the form on the following page. You can print out the number of copies that you need. They will need to be notarized and you can get a free notary from the Grand Valley office.
