FLORIDA DOESN’T OFTEN EXPERIENCE THE COOL, crisp weather that is most often associated with ornamental jack-o’-lantern pumpkins – but pumpkins and other hard squashes do grow here. Lately, increased interest in pumpkins has prompted a resurgence in research and development of tropical pumpkins that are native to Florida. 14
