Consider this:
There is clear continuity between the last 9 verses of Luke and the first 9 verses of Acts because Luke wrote them both Jesus opened the minds of the disciples to understand Scripture and told them to wait in Jerusalem until they are baptized in the Holy Spirit When that happened, we see their “Acts” as they became amazing preachers and workers of signs and wonders Acts 4:13 says they were unschooled, ordinary men, but they had been with Jesus! This highly encouraging to us even today!

11) They were prophetic Psalms about Judas who betrayed Jesus, died, and needed to be replaced. They had two faithful men, so they cast lots and it fell on Matthias who was added to the eleven. (1:15-26)
2) He quoted Joel 2:28-32, Psalm 16:8-11, and Psalm 110:1. About 3,000 people got saved and were baptized. (2:14-41)
3) The prophets spoke of Christ’s suffering for their sins. If they repented, their sins would be wiped out and times of refreshing would come from the Lord. (3:17-19)

QUESTIONS FOR DEEPER THOUGHT
1.To show that he was a zealous Jew and how amazing his conversion was. (22:1-5, 19-20)
