AVE & Summary of coverage and exposure

Advent costs the business around £55,000 per year for their professional fees. In the first quarter of of 2024 the Advertising Value Equivalent (AVE) for all coverage obtained was £1,071,597 ie it would have cost us just over £1m to buy the space we had in free editorial. Our potential reach in the first quarter of 2024 was more than 115 million readers

We achieved coverage in national titles including The Times, Sunday Times, Daily Mail, Daily Telegraph, House and Garden, Country & Town House, and Yahoo News, and magazines including Money Week, The Week, Horse and Hound, Country Living and Town and Country

We secured a wide range of coverage in trade titles including Property Week, Estates Gazette, CoStar, Commercial News Media, Water Magazine, The Planner, Planning Resource, World Pipelines, Property Investor News, South West Farmer, Farming UK and Farmers Guide and the Pipeline Industries Guild magazine.

We regularly utilised platforms including In the Pipeline magazine, Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce, Pro Manchester and Professional Liverpool

We also achieved a wide geographic spread of media coverage spanning the Fisher German office network, including local press and regional business titles.

Media and press articles

During Q1 2024 over 203 press cuttings across a wide range of media outlets to continually raise the profile of the business and our people. Added to this, 37 articles were published on the FG website news page which attracted a total of 2,789 visitors during this period. Website visitors also increased during this period when compared to the previous quarter, October – December 2023.

Summary

With consistent exposure across the business, we have not only increased the number of visitors to our news page on our website, but we have significantly raised the volume of our external press coverage which has enabled us to widen our audience and raise our profile as a firm of multi-disciplinary experts offering a wide range of services across many markets.

Moving forward we must continue to maintain and grow our profile and reputation across all markets and sectors externally. To do this, we need a constant stream of content to enable me to continue working closely with Advent and the wider B, D & C team to support your priorities.

If you are working on a project, have a success story to talk about or want to raise the profile of your team and the work you do – please do get in touch. To enable us to draft something it is important to provide the following information:

Who was involved in the project, ie who is the purchaser, are there agents involved or anyone else and are they happy to be named?

What have we bought/sold/worked on – provide as much detail as possible – do you have a specific brochure and any photographs?

Where is the project and what has it been in the past – any idea of what it will be used in the future?

Why Can we disclose why it is on the market – can we share anything about the vendor?

When did the acquisition happen? How long did it take? What are the purchaser's plans if they are willing to disclose this information? When did the project start/finish?

Can we obtain quotes from anyone – they can be tagged in the social post from a corporate perspective when it goes out and will, of course, be mentioned in the press release.

How does this represent the current market – perhaps an opportunity to highlight the type of properties you are working with/projects you are working on?

Can you provide a brief market insight and highlight any challenges you are currently facing?

Has there been any changes in legislation which have created issues for you and your team – can we look at an opinion piece?
